Welcome to Chris Wallace’s world. The Fox News newsman got a prized interview with President Trump to be aired Sunday and used it as an occasion to argue with his subject, playing junior fact-checker instead of grand old interviewer, all in the name of cheap shilling for Joe Biden:

WASHINGTON – Fox News host Chris Wallace fact-checked President Donald Trump’s inaccurate claim during an interview that former Vice President Joe Biden is in favor of defunding the police, leading to a testy reaction.

In a clip released between the “FOX News Sunday” anchor and Trump – the entire interview will air Sunday – the president blamed  “stupidly run” Democratic local governments for the increase in violence in some cities and implied the increase was the fault of the defund the police movement. 

Just one problem. Trump was right. And Wallace was wrong:

Fact Check: Do Black People Suffer Disproportionately From Police Brutality? James D. Agresti

A recent New York Times article by Jeremy W. Peters claims it is a “fact” “that black people suffer disproportionately from police brutality.” He also asserts that President Trump’s rejection of this accusation is “racially inflammatory” and “racially divisive.” On the contrary, comprehensive facts show that this allegation against police is false. Furthermore, this deception has stoked racial divides and driven people to despise and even murder police officers.

In an interview with CBS News that is slated to air in full tonight, reporter Catherine Herridge asked Trump, “Why are African-Americans still dying at the hands of law enforcement in this country?” He responded that this is a “terrible question” and that “more white people” are killed by police than black people.

CBS News, the New York Times, and many other media outlets are criticizing Trump’s response because blacks are a much smaller portion of the U.S. population than whites. Thus, the odds of being killed by police are higher for each black person than each white person. This frequent argument is highly misleading because it omits facts that are vital to this issue. As detailed in a 2018 paper in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science:

“The most common means of testing for racial disparity in police use of deadly force is to compare the odds of being fatally shot for blacks to the odds of being fatally shot for whites.”
That logic is flawed because it relies upon the false assumption that white and black people commit life-threatening crimes at the same rates.
The rational way to analyze this issue is to compare the odds of being fatally shot to each race’s “involvement in those situations where the police may be more likely to use deadly force.”
Based on four different national datasets on “murder/nonnegligent manslaughter, violent crime, and weapons violations,” “in nearly every case, whites were either more likely to be fatally shot by police or police showed no significant disparity in either direction.”

Back in the summer of 2015, all the cleverest people made fun of Donald Trump for obsessing about China. One of them even made a video compilation of the candidate saying ‘China’ over and over again on the hustings. Ha ha ha.

It seems distinctly less funny now. There is a reason that the novel coronavirus is popularly denominated the Wuhan flu or CCP virus. As Bill Gertz observed in How China’s Communist Party Made the World Sick, ‘the world does not need to prove that the communist regime in Beijing was responsible for the escape of the coronavirus from a lab’ in order to cast a jaundiced eye upon its many malefactions. ‘It is now clear,’ he writes, ‘that decades of international engagement and cooperation with communist China was a mistake that seriously undermined fundamental American values of freedom, democracy, openness, honesty, and free markets.

It seemed like a good idea at the time. In the 1970s, under Richard Nixon, America embarked on a program of ‘constructive engagement’ with communist China. The hope was that by pursuing closer ties with China, America would mount a more effective challenge to the Soviet threat. The secondary hope was that by engaging with China, we would lure the backwards communist behemoth into the modern world. That turned out to be a fond hope. China entered the modern world all right. But instead of softening its penchant for top-down totalitarian rule, economic and military modernization made its despotism more cunning.

Consider, for example, the 370,000 Chinese nationals who have come to the United States for college. They typically pay full-freight, which makes them an important economic boon to the colleges and universities they attend. And it is still not widely appreciated that all are subject to Article 7 of the 2017 National Intelligence Law of 2017, which requires that ‘any citizen shall support, assist, and cooperate with the state intelligence work’. In other words, as Brian Kennedy notes in Communist China’s War Inside America, ‘It is quite literally the law that all Chinese students in American universities are agents, or potential agents, of the Chinese Communist party and the intelligence apparatus of the P.RC.’

Killing HCQ while killing the patients who could have benefited from it

It is written by a medical doctor and consists of a list of steps that have been taken by medical authorities in the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Western Europe, and apparently also Russia to prevent doctors from using inexpensive hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) together with azithromycin and zinc to treat coronavirus. 

HCQ with azithromycin and zinc is the only known effective treatment (other than perhaps large intraveneous doses of Vitimin C) of coronavirus. Dr. Didier Raoult has proven its effectiveness by using the treatment on more than 4,000 patients.  A number of American doctors have reported similar success.

As regular readers of this website know, I have covered some of the deceptive practices used by CDC, NIH, WHO, and medical journals to falsely portray HCQ as a dangerous drug that kills.  Dr. Meryl Nass’ list of Big Pharma’s intentional falsifications for the sole purpose of preventing cost effective treatment of coronavirus is a long list.  It shows us the extent to which the medical profession is corrupted by money.  The reason HCQ has been blocked is to protect the market for Gilead’s Remdesivir, an extremely expensive and ineffective treatment, and to keep the option open for marketing a highly profitable vaccine that is unlikely to be effective.

To be clear, large numbers of people are suffering with serious illness and many are dying, the economy has been disrupted and people’s financial health has been impaired, all for the sake of profit for Big Pharma.
Dr. Nass points out that the National Institute of Health’s committee that sets guidelines for coronavirus treatment has 16 members with financial entanglements with Gilead, including two of the three co-chairmen of the committee.  Dr. Nass asks:  “Are you surprised that their guidelines recommend specifically against the use of hydroxychloroquine and in favor of Remdesivir, and that they deem this (Remdesivir) the new ‘standard of care’”?
Now ask yourself, when the entirety of the Western media and the medical establishment purposely cause illness and death so that money can be made, why do you believe what media and authorities tell you about George Floyd’s death and everything else?

Radicals from the 1960s and 1970s now hold powerful positions in government and academia

This is what the revolution looks like.

Weather Underground terrorists, who made no secret of being anti-AmeriKKKan “small-c” communists, are having more success than they could have dreamed of in the 1960s.

They are dominating the language. You know that whole “white privilege” nostrum that we’re paying universities $60K per year to drum into our children’s brains? It is derived from their lamentation of “white skin privilege.” In their ideology, the revolution to overthrow the capitalist, racist, imperialist system summoned them — lily white radicals — to abandon their privilege and embrace the armed struggle.

Among their most influential thinkers was Bill Ayers. He got a windfall from the government’s failure to prosecute him for the bombings he carried out and the mass murders he planned but was insufficiently competent to execute. It was a second career as a “Distinguished Professor of Education” at the University of Illinois. As Sol Stern relates in a 2006 City Journal essay that should be required reading today, this entailed designing curricula used by today’s hard-Left academics, based on what Ayers saw as a moral imperative to convert schools into social-justice indoctrination labs.

It worked.

Of course, in the days before they brought the revolution into the classroom, they pursued it on urban streets, prioritizing war on cops. To the avant-garde, the police are the pointy end of the oppressive government spear, enforcing its laws and imposing the racist society’s caste system. For the revolution to succeed, the police have to be discredited, defunded, and defanged. For the Weather Underground, that meant branching into such radical offshoots as the May 19 Communist Organization and conspiring with black separatists.

The Trump voter loves America, reflexively, even if America and its political class lets it down on occasion.

The Trump voter stands for the national anthem at the beginning of every Major League Baseball game and sings “Take Me Out to the Ballgame” during every 7th inning stretch. There is no ambiguity in that essentially non-political exercise.

The Trump voter sees this country as the good guy but wonders why we spend so much of our blood and treasure getting involved in foreign wars. It’s a valid question that the Never Trumpers rarely ask.

The Trump voter doesn’t trust the political class and is prone to believing in some outlandish conspiracy theories, some of which turn out to be true. Yes, the Obama White House did frame Michael Flynn and did try to railroad Mr. Trump out of his job.

The Trump voter has been reflexively against China, mostly because they don’t like to see America’s manufacturing base and the jobs that come with them exported overseas. But, at the same time, they like buying the cheap big screen televisions that they can find at the local Walmart.

The Trump voter has a love/hate relationship with its local Walmart. They love the prices but wonder about big corporations in general.

I hope the situation is not so bleak in “red” states, but here in Marxachusetts my life changed forever in the middle of March.  2+2 still = 4. A much bigger, and more important, challenge than the WuFlu itself will be holding firmly to that.

They need to ceaselessly berate and harass people to whip our minds into resignation, to break our spirit, so that we accept  the New World Order of being regimented in every aspect of our lives.
