Biden’s Influential Lenin Sisters Angela Davis gets her racist indoctrination and Saule Omorova seeks to impose Soviet banking. Lloyd Billingsley

“I’m told I should start with AP, Zeke Miller,” said Joe Biden in Rome last month. Back in August, Biden told reporters “I was instructed” to call on Kelly O’Donnell from NBC. Biden didn’t reveal the identity of his instructors, but it’s not a tough call.

The lead puppeteer is doubtless the composite character David Garrow described in Rising Star: The Making of Barack Obama. As Drew Allen notes, this is Obama’s third term, but another leftist star is pulling Biden’s strings on matters more important than a press conference.

During the 2020 campaign, Angela Davis supported Joe Biden as the candidate “who can be most effectively pressured into allowing more space for the evolving anti-racist movement.” As parents have noticed, the Biden Junta is all-in with BLM and 1619 Project indoctrination. Embattled parents, smeared by the Biden DOJ as domestic terrorists, might wonder about this person who wields such influence.

In her Women’s March speech in January, 2017, Davis (pictured above) proclaimed “history cannot be deleted like web pages.” That invites review of episodes from Davis’ own history.

Davis gained fame for supporting Black Panther George Jackson, who killed a guard at Soledad Prison. In 1970, Davis brought the arsenal of weapons for Jackson’s brother Jonathan, who charged into a Marin County courtroom and took hostages. In the ensuing shootout, four people were killed and judge Harold Haley’s head blown off.

Davis fled but was arrested in New York. At her 1972 trial, more than 20 witnesses implicated her in the plot but Davis gained acquittal. The African American feminist was also a devotee of the all-male, all-white Soviet dictatorship, which awarded Davis the Lenin Peace Prize in 1979. The following year, Davis ran for vice president on the Communist Party USA ticket under white Stalinist Gus Hall.

Davis and Hall lost to Ronald Reagan and George H.W. Bush in 1980 and again in 1984. Now 77, Davis can get the racist indoctrination she wants through the “easily pressured” Joe Biden. Should the influence of the pro-Soviet left be doubted, consider Saule Omarova, Biden’s choice for comptroller of the currency in the Treasury Department.

“It’s not every day that we’re presented with a nomination for a Lenin scholarship recipient who attended the Moscow State University and wants to end banking as we know it in the United States,” South Dakota Republican John Thune recently told reporters. Sen. Pat Toomey wants Omarova to turn over a copy of her thesis, “Karl Marx’s Economic Analysis and the Theory of Revolution in The Capital,” still on Omarova’s CV in April of 2017.

Fake Cherokee Elizabeth Warren, prime mover of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, touts Omarova’s “impressive qualifications and expertise in banking.” Sen. Sherrod Brown attributed opposition to “red scare McCarthyism” and hailed Omarova as someone who “fled communist oppression.” Trouble is, she didn’t.

Omarova came to the United States on an exchange program with the University of Wisconsin and she lamented the fall of the Soviet Union. In a May 9, 2020 interview with Chris Hayes of NBC, Omarova said “I feel guilty for having left the country at such a momentous time, because obviously they couldn’t hold it together without me.” The McCarthyism accusation is also off-base.

The Wisconsin Republican hurt the anti-Communist cause with reckless speculation about the number of Communists in government. On the other hand, McCarthy and fellow senators never got to question a presidential nominee who openly defends the USSR and wants to nationalize banks.

In the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics, the ruling Communist Party handed out scholarships primarily on the basis of fidelity to Marxist-Leninist doctrine, not academic merit. A ballpark figure for the contributions of Marx and Lenin to economics is zero, so Omarova’s thesis should prove a fascinating read. The Soviet Union was an economic basket case, but it’s the American financial system Omarova views as dysfunctional.

Say what you will about old USSR, there was no gender pay gap there,” the Biden nominee explains, “market doesn’t always ‘know best.’” And in the old USSR, the government set salaries, “in a gender-blind manner and all women got very generous maternity benefits. Both things are still a pipe dream in our society!”

Omarova claims to be the victim of a double standard as an immigrant, a woman and a minority. If such is the case, senators might wonder how Omarova managed to gain a job in the Treasury Department.

“I also served in the George W. Bush Administration as a Special Advisor on Regulatory Policy to the U.S. Treasury’s Under Secretary for Domestic Finance,” Omarova told the Senate Banking Committee in 2018. Bush’s choice for undersecretary of the treasury for domestic finance was Brian Roseboro, but it’s unclear who wanted Omarova as a special advisor. At the time, her Marxist thesis, defense of the USSR, and contempt for the free market did not become an issue.

They are an issue now, but with Vichy conservatives lending a hand, Lenin scholar Saule Omarova could get her chance to transform American banking on the Soviet model. In similar style, Angela Davis’ racist indoctrination comes straight from the Communist Party play book. Under the Biden Junta, the opportunities for Lenin Prize and Lenin scholarship winners are indeed limitless.
