Communist China’s Far-Reaching Espionage Efforts Threaten U.S. Under A Joe Biden Presidency

he Department of Justice has had Joe Biden’s son Hunter under its investigative microscope since 2018. Meanwhile, Democratic Rep. Eric Swalwell of California has come under scrutiny for his coziness, both personal and professional, with a known Chinese spy. China shows an increasingly deft ability to find weak spots in the U.S. government and big business, and exploit them to its advantage.

China’s ease in getting its way, of course, has been enabled by the U.S. media, which because of its rabid hatred of all things Donald Trump, in particular his hard line against China’s communist regime, put a virtual clamp on any bad news about Hunter Biden’s many questionable dealings there.

“Documents relating to Hunter Biden’s exploitation of his father’s name to enrich himself and other relatives through deals with China were among the cache published in the week before the election by The New York Post — revelations censored by Twitter and Facebook and steadfastly ignored by most mainstream news outlets,” wrote Glenn Greenwald at Substack.

“That concerted repression effort by media outlets and Silicon Valley left it to right-wing outlets such as Fox News and The Daily Caller to report, which in turn meant that millions of Americans were kept in the dark before voting,” Greenwald added.

The media’s behavior is bad enough. But the Democratic Party has been the real driver of the denial bus, insisting all along that questions raised about Hunter Biden and Swalwell’s China ties were “Russian disinformation” or “right-wing conspiracy theories.”

Now that the election is over, the media have at last been forced to admit the troubling truth: That Hunter Biden has been a willing asset of China’s communists, enriching himself and likely his family, including Joe Biden, in the process, is now clear.

They’ve also had to report on California “progressive” Swalwell, a member of the House Intelligence Committee, who forged ties with a young, attractive Chinese spy named Fang Fang. As Fox News describes it, Fang Fang “posed as a student in the San Francisco area and raised money for Swalwell’s first campaign for Congress,” and “was placed as an intern in his Washington office and had a personal, possibly romantic, relationship with him.”

The irony, of course, is that Swalwell has been among the House Democrats’ leading proponents of the made-up theory that Trump “colluded” with the Russians in 2016.

China’s success is no accident. Nor is it a one-off fluke. China has had allies in the U.S. and elsewhere all along.

But don’t take our word for it. Recent comments by the leading Chinese political scientist and analyst Di Donghseng show how much Beijing despised Trump and how much it looks forward to working with Biden, when and if he takes office in January.

The key, Di said earlier this month at an investment conference in Shanghai, is Wall Street, where many investment houses have grown immensely rich by investing heavily in China.

“Why did China and the U.S. use to be able to settle all kinds of issues between 1992 and 2016?” Di asked.

His answer: “It’s just because we have people at the top. We have our old friends who are at the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence.”

And those “friends,” Di noted, came about as a result of pressure from Wall Street. The lengthy 16-year cycle of growing China influence, beginning with President Bill Clinton, moving on to President George W. Bush and ending with President Barack Obama, came to a crashing end with Trump. As a billionaire, he couldn’t be bought or bullied by Wall Street.

“But now we’re seeing Biden was elected, the traditional elite, the political elite, the establishment, they’re very close to Wall Street, so you see that, right?” Di said.

He also remarked on what he called Hunter Biden’s “global foundation.”

“Trump has been saying that Biden’s son has some sort of global foundation. Who helped him (Hunter Biden) build the foundations? There are a lot of deals in all these,” he said.

It’s bad enough that it appears we might have a president next year beholden to the Chinese Communist Party. But China’s reach is well beyond even that.

A leak of nearly 2 million names of Chinese Communist Party members to Britain’s Daily Mail, Australia’s The Australian, Belgium’s De Standaard and to an unnamed Swedish editor shows “potentially thousands of names of CCP members who have infiltrated top corporations and high levels of government across the West,” according to the National File.

“Some of its members – who swear a solemn oath to ‘guard party secrets, be loyal to the party, work hard, fight for communism throughout my life … and never betray the party’ – are understood to have secured jobs in British consulates,” wrote The Australian’s Sharri Markson.

This penetration, by the way, also includes U.S. firms.

“Along with the personal identifying details of 1.95 million communist party members, mostly from Shanghai, there are also the details of 79,000 Communist Party branches, many of them inside companies,” Markson noted.

Of most concern, the report says, both Pfizer and AstraZeneca, now busy making COVID-19 vaccines, have at least 123 CCP members among their staffs.

The data come from dissident who accessed it in 2016. But the CCP members are still out there. Being a communist, of course, doesn’t mean you’re necessarily a spy; but it does raise, if you’ll pardon the expression, a red flag. And from what we know from past history, communism’s adherents put global adoption of Marxism ahead of such parochial interests as corporate employers or even national citizenship in non-communist countries.

This stunning revelation shows how far the CCP has gone in infiltrating the West, its corporations and organizations, and even its governments. And when it can’t put someone loyal to the party into a post, it merely buys off the greedy or tempts the weak, both very old espionage tricks.

We suspect greed is the case with Hunter Biden, who, for several million dollars in “business deals,” provided access for his paymasters, the Chinese communist regime, to his highly influential father.

For Swalwell, his weakness for the attractive female spy named Fang Fang may mean he got caught in a so-called “honey trap.” Lust before country, from a former (minor) presidential candidate who had the chutzpah to accuse Trump of being a Russian dupe. And despite being apprised of Fang Fang being a Chinese spy all the way back in 2015, it took Swalwell’s family five years to cut their ties with her.

(For the record, Swalwell was the second California congressman to be compromised by Fang Fang. The first was Rep. Ro Khanna. And Sen. Dianne Feinstein employed a Chinese spy on her staff for 20 years. California, with its bevy of far-left representatives and equally far-left universities, has proved to be fertile hunting grounds for Chinese spymasters.)

Thanks to Trump’s challenge of China’s hegemony in Asia and around the world, China’s anti-West machinations are finally coming to light. It’s no longer possible to call Beijing an ally or friend. It’s now clear it never was.

If Joe Biden takes is inaugurated, as now looks likely, we could be in for a rough time. He has openly criticized Trump’s get-tough policies with the newly militaristic Chinese regime, which poses a growing threat to the U.S., its allies and the West.

To be entirely clear, the U.S. is now engaged in a fresh Cold War with a new communist challenger. China. There’s a reason why Beijing emphatically preferred Biden to Trump, and it wasn’t Biden’s brilliant smile. No, it sees him as a weak opportunist, and aims to exploit him for its own geostrategic benefit, and to our detriment. So, Americans beware. Appeasement and corruption don’t work with communist foes. We’ve done this before.
