Navigating Past Disinformation by: Diana West

The most lethal threat to our nation at this moment in the election crisis is what is deceptively known as the “news” media, now inundating Americans with non-stop propaganda. This threat is nothing new, but the potential lethality of the election crisis itself makes it exceptional. We, the People, are under all-out psychological attack, our perception of these momentous events the main target. The impact is, of course, compounded by the censorship agenda of such platforms as Twtitter and Facebook, now unabashedly expunging and hiding facts about the events that emerge indepedently of the propaganda media. Big Tech’s censorship agenda now regularly extends to statements to the American people made by the President of the United States.

All of which was predictable, all of which was predicted. Finding ourselves at war with our communications compromised and interupted, we need to navigate past the disinformation. To that end, I will be posting valuable information, comments, analysis as I find it throughout the crisis.

Press round-up, November 6, 2020.

Betsy McCaughey’s “President Trump is simply suing to stop the counting of bogus votes”

…The post-election limbo is a deliberate creation of the Democratic Party. In the months leading up to the election, the Democratic National Committee and allied groups blanketed swing states with armies of lawyers filing suits to challenge voter-ID laws, signature-verification laws and, more than anything else, deadlines for mail-in ballots — as if elections should no longer have deadlines but instead be staged as a rolling, never-ending process.

...The pretext for all these changes was the pandemic. But the fact is, this nation has elected presidents in a timely way during world wars, polio epidemics and many other emergencies without doing away with Election Day finality.

In what seemed to be a coordinated effort, the media told Americans not to expect a winner on Election Night. If President Trump is ahead on Nov. 3, we were told, it’s just a “red mirage” that will be clawed back and undone once all the mail-in and late-arriving ballots are counted. CNN stopped talking about Election Day and switched to “election season.”

…Mid-morning on Nov. 4, Trump vowed to seek a Supreme Court ruling on which ballots are being counted. When he said it, the left erupted in outrage. Rep. Adam Schiff said the president was acting like “a would-be despot.” That’s a hoot. Despots trash the rule of law — Trump is appealing to it.

…Earlier this year, Pennsylvania Democrats did an end-run around the Republican majority in the state Legislature. Dems managed to get a concession from a sympathetic, Democratic-dominated state court to allow ballots that arrive as late as the Friday after Election Day to be counted, even if they lack a postmark or a verified signature.

Republicans went to the Supreme Court before Election Day to try to get a ruling against the changes, but the Supreme Court declined to act on an emergency basis.

… Imagine how the results could change if ballots can be counted that show up after Election Day — with no postmark and no verified signature.

The Constitution is on Trump’s side. The Constitution states — not once, but twice — that state legislatures decide “the time, place and manner of elections.” Governors, commissions and local judges have no authority to go around the state lawmakers.

Correcting a misquotation by Washington Post, Mark Levin wrote on Twitter:

2. I said that the state legislature put in place election laws and the state Supreme Court, governor, etc, do not have the power to change those election laws.  Therefore, the law as passed by the legislature is controlling not the edicts from courts or governors.

3. In Pennsylvania, that means the legal votes are those votes made under the election laws passed by the legislature.

4. The eleventh hour changes by the state supreme court ruling parts of the law unconstitutional Because if the coronavirus, and its imposition of changes specifically rejected by the legislature but demanded by the governor, are unconstitutional.

5. Article II of the constitution could not be clearer.  So before you write about a person or a topic get you facts right.

6. It’s the elected Democrats on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court and the Democrat Governor and Secretary of State who’ve made the last minute changes to the state statutes in violation of the constitution.

Larry Correia, writing as a former accountant and auditor:

I’ve been trying to keep up with the firehose of information about what’s going on during this clusterfuck of an election. Last night I was on Facebook talking about the crazy high, 3rd world dictatorship level voter turnout levels in the deep blue areas of these swing states was very suspicious. Somebody gas lighted me about how “I’d have to do better than that”, so this was my quick reply, listing off the questionable bullshit I could think of off the top of my head:

The massive turn out alone is a red flag.

But as for doing better…

The late night spikes that were enough to close all the Trump leads are a red flag.

The statistically impossible breakdown of the ratios of these vote dumps is a red flag.

The ratios of these dumps being far better than the percentages in the bluest of blue cities, even though the historical data does not match, red flag.

The ratios of these vote dumps favoring Biden more in these few battlegrounds than the ratio for the rest of the country (even the bluest of the blue) red flag.

Biden outperforming Obama among these few urban vote dumps, even though Trump picked up points in every demographic group in the rest of the country, red flag.

The poll observers being removed. Red flag.

The counters cheering as GOP observers are removed, red flag.

The fact that the dem observers outnumber the GOP observers 3 to 1, red flag (and basis of the first lawsuit filed)

The electioneering at the polls (on video), red flag.

The willful violation of the court order requiring the separation of ballots by type, red flag.

USPS whistleblower reporting to the Inspector General that today they were ordered to backdate ballots to yesterday, red flag.

The video of 2 AM deliveries of what appear to be boxes of ballots with no chain of custody or other observers right before the late night miracle spikes, red flag.

Any of those things would be enough to trigger an audit in the normal world. This many flags and I’d be giggling in anticipation of catching some thieves.

And it isn’t that I have to do better. I’m just an gen pop observer who happens to be a retired auditor with a finely tuned bullshit detector. This is going to the courts.

And where’s Barr?

From PJMedia:

J. Christian Adams, a former DOJ attorney who now serves on the U.S. Civil Rights Commission, suggested that the DOJ will not investigate the criminal referral thoroughly.

“The chances of Richard Pilger – head of the Election Crimes Branch of the DOJ – doing anything is next to zero,” Adams told PJ Media. “He authorized zero prosecutions during Obama era and allowed only three federal districts – [the Western District of Texas], [the Middle District of North Carolina] and [the Eastern District of Pennsylvania] to have any prosecutions.”

“FBI agents all over the USA are slow walking or killing voter fraud prosecutions,” Adams added. “It’s outrageous.”
