Is The Biden Scandal The Reason Democrats Pushed Voters To Cast Ballots Before Election Day?

Democrats campaigned this year for mail-in and early voting as if it were the most important issue in politics. Now we think we know why: They wanted voters to make their selections before Bidengate arrived.

As of Tuesday, more than 41 million ballots have already been cast, two full weeks before Election Day, and about 30% of the total cast in the 2016 presidential election. How many of those votes were decided before the Hunter Biden email scandal emerged? We’d guess quite a few. One report says that Democratic-affiliated voters have returned their ballots at roughly a 1.4-to-1 ratio over Republican-affiliated voters.

Overall, “Democrats have returned more ballots in 32 states,” reports NBC News. “In Florida and Minnesota, Democratic early votes are outpacing those of Republicans by more than 20 percentage points. In New Hampshire, Democratic early voters are ahead by 36 points.”

Democrats are surely celebrating the fact that a record number of ballots had been turned in by about the time the New York Post published its story about the emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop that strongly suggest Joe Biden sold access to his office as a U.S. senator and a vice president.

“So many ballots have been cast at this point that Joe Biden might be able to murder someone on live television and not have it affect the election,” PJ Media’s Stephen Kruiser quipped in Wednesday’s Morning Briefing.

Democrats had to know that the emails would eventually surface. Hunter Biden left the laptop at a Delaware repair shop in April 2019, according to the Post. It was never picked up, even after the shop owner “said he tried repeatedly to contact the client.” That owner was subpoenaed “to testify before U.S. District Court in Delaware on Dec. 9, 2019,” Fox News reports. One page of the subpoena “shows what appears to be serial numbers for a laptop and hard drive taken into possession.”

It’s unlikely these events would go unnoticed by the Democrats. So as it became obvious that Joe Biden would be the party’s presidential nominee, it’s reasonable to believe the Democrats accelerated their campaign for early and mail-in voting so that millions of Americans would turn in their ballots before the scandal hit.

Novelist and screenwriter Roger Simon, writing in The Epoch Times, wonders if Hunter Biden “was trying to tell us something” by purposely leaving a “laptop loaded with incriminating evidence about himself and his family at a computer repair shop.”

“So, in what one can assume was a highly altered state, in an act of what we might call ‘justifiable patricide,’ he dropped off the laptop and walked away from the store, leaving behind this mountain of evidence,” an act that just might have been “a cry for help.”

If what Simon speculates is true, then it’s no leap to reckon that Hunter Biden might have warned his father or Democrat operatives about the laptop, setting in motion a stepped-up effort to cajole Americans into voting before the news was broken. The party of the hard left knew it could trust the legacy media to ignore the scandal, which it did for as long as it could before it began to try to discredit the Post’s report. But there are still a few media outlets that don’t operate as the Democrats’ press department and would publish the story.

The Biden scandal didn’t set off Democrats’ agenda to diminish Election Day. Vote-by-mail, ballot harvesting, and voting months in advance are long-term efforts to turn elections to their advantage and establish a single-party government. Bidengate likely prompted them to move a little faster.

The scandal also shows why it’s important everyone should cast their ballot on a single day, legitimate absentee voters aside. Millions voted while missing critical information that emerged only three weeks before the election. We’d bet many would change their votes now, but they’re stuck with their choices, thanks to the Democratic meddling in the election process.
