DANIEL GREENFIELD IN JUNE 2009….THE 2 STATE SOLUTION IS A VICTORY FOR THE PROXY WAR AGAINST ISRAEL…..

http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/2009/06/two-state-solution-is-victory-for-proxy.html

“Advocating the Two State solution means advocating genocide and ethnic cleansing. It means destroying the Middle East’s only democracy to make way for a monstrosity that would be the worst of the Taliban writ large across the region and the globe. It means stoning, amputation and a thousand uncounted brutalities. And most of all it brings WWIII or a global clash of civilizations that much closer. There are two kinds of people who support the Two State Solution. Those who know what they support and those who do not.”

When Hitler wanted to carve up Czechoslovakia he began by demanding the Sudetenland, inhabited by the Volksdeutsche, ethnic Germans living in Czechoslovakia. The world thought this was entirely reasonable and Czechoslovakia was forced to give in. Of course Hitler did not simply want the Sudetenland, anymore than he simply wanted the Rhineland. He was after a much vaster program of conquest.

DANIEL GREENFIELD: WHY ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION MATTERS….SEE NOTE PLEASE

http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/ PRESIDENT BUSH ACTUALLY HAD AN IMMIGRATION PLAN WITH GUEST WORKER CARDS AND ID CARDS AND IT WAS NEVER EVEN DISCUSSED IN CONGRESS….MAJOR MISTAKE….IT WAS NOT PERFECT BUT BETTER THAN ANYTHING EXCEPT JAN BREWER’S ARIZONA LAW…..RSK The last round of Republican debates has brought the issue back to the fore, even though some hosts and […]

DANIEL GREENFIELD: THE WEEK THAT WAS

Friday Afternoon Roundup – Classless Warfare http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/ The UN is now hard at work pandering to terrorists and shutting down midtown traffic, but do we really need the UN? My Freedom Center pamphlet, 10 Reasons to Abolish the UN argues that not only don’t we need it, but the whole world would be better off […]

MARCO RUBIO BETTER BONE UP ON SERBIAN AND BALKAN HISTORY: JULIA GORIN

http://www.juliagorin.com/wordpress/?p=2726 The Anti-Serb Thing — from a Cuban-American. (Really?) (I Mean, Really?) As the son of Cuban exiles, junior Florida senator Marco Rubio should be particularly sensitive to attempts at painting a people as crazed criminals, often done in service of an underlying political agenda. But in his speech last week at the Jesse Helms […]

PRESIDENT SOLYNDRA AND HIS MEAN GREEN WEALTH WASTING MACHINE:STEVEN HAYWARD

http://www.weeklystandard.com/articles/president-solyndra_594151.html The spectacular collapse of Solyndra has all of the trappings of an epic Washington scandal, with serial revelations of embarrassing and potentially improper White House machinations to secure a $535 million federal loan guarantee for a startup company with dubious prospects of success. The sudden bankruptcy of the Fremont, California, manufacturer of solar panels—after […]

MY SAY: RECOGNITION FOR RECOGNITION

At the risk of being diagnosed with perseveration (Uncontrollable repetition of a particular response, such as a word, phrase, or gesture) I find it risible that Israel, a democratic state, not perfect, but very advanced in scientific, cultural, and social institutions is the only nation in the world whose legitimacy is challenged. I also find it even more perverse that Israel’s Prime Minister offers Israel’s patrimony and legitimate and historic claims in exchange for “recognition of its right to exist as a Jewish state”….huh?

The very phrase is offensive. Recognition? By whom?

Well, Israel should also offer some recognition in exchange for this absurd notion. I recognize that Israel’s enemies are a group of jihadist barbarians with a blood lust that can only be satisfied with the demise of Israel. I recognize that they live in the corner of a hell where parents gladly offer their children as suicide bombers for a few bucks and a lot of praise from their neighbors; where they indulge in killing their own offspring for some perceived “dishonor” ; where the truly decent and peaceable people among them fear for their lives and a loss of their heads if they protest the harsh reality of this faith driven hatred.

Well, now that I recognize them for what they are, they can shove their recognition….and Israel’s Prime Minister who is, by default, guardian of Jewish destiny should grow the…..er….spine to say so instead of babbling about negotiations.

YORAM ETTINGER: LEOPARDS DON’T CHANGE SPOTS….ONLY TACTICS

http://www.israelhayom.com/site/newsletter_opinion.php?id=530 President Obama’s September 21, 2011 speech, at the UN General Assembly, reaffirmed his world view on global affairs in general, and on the Palestinian issue in particular. For instance, the President reiterated his, and Secretary Clinton’s, assessment that the seismic turmoil on the Arab Street constitutes “transition to democracy,” featuring “[non-violent] youth delivering a […]

ANDREW McCARTHY: CAN WE TELL THE TRUTH?

http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/278246 I have met the weasel, and he is us. The question arises: How effective are weasel words in fighting off weasel words? With its leader having proposed to expand our deflating economy by redistributing another $1.5 trillion from private-sector producers to public-sector gluttons, the Obama Left’s talking point du jour is: “We are just […]

CAROLINE GLICK: ISRAEL’S PATH TO VICTORY

http://www.carolineglick.com/e/2011/09/israels-path-to-victory.php

“The government’s behavior is probably due to force of habit. Since the initiation of the phony peace process with the PLO 18 years ago, at their best, Israel’s governments have justified the Jewish state’s control over territories it won control over in the 1967 Six Day War on the basis of our security needs. Without the Jordan Valley, Israel is vulnerable to foreign invasion from the east. Without Gush Etzion to Jerusalem’s south and Gush Adumim to its north, the capital is vulnerable to attack. Without overall Israeli security control over Judea and Samaria, Israel’s population centers are vulnerable to terrorist attacks. And so on and so forth.”

There is something surreal about the coverage of developments this week at the UN. The general tenor is akin to the showdown at the OK Corral. Either the Palestinians win recognition of statehood, or they don’t. If they do, they win. If they don’t, Israel wins.

MARK STEYN: THE END OF THE WORLD AS WE KNOW IT?

http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/278213 ‘It’s the end of the world as we know it,” sang the popular musical artistes R.E.M. many years ago. And it is. R.E.M. has announced that they’re splitting up after almost a third of a century. But these days who isn’t? The eurozone, the world’s first geriatric boy band, is on the verge of […]
