Michael Mukasey was at the doctor’s office on the morning of Sept. 11, 2001. When he heard about the attack on the World Trade Center, he asked: “Is this our guys?” [...]
http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/276249 Propaganda Protection Herb Meyer’s new essay is a great defense against indoctrination. Many of us are seeing kids we care about — relatives, friends, neighbors, students — go off to high school or college this fall. Joyful occasions, mostly, but for many of us, there’s a sense of unease, too. We worry about the [...]
Dear E-pals: FDR did not mince words; he did not call Nazism an ideology that was hijacked. Now I ask you simply to substitute the word Jihad wherever the Gestapo, or Hitler, Mein Kampf or the Nazis are named. It fits to a tee, but where is the candidate or legislator or cabinet official who [...]
Let’s Roll Over http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/276803 We retreat to equivocation, cultural self-loathing, and utterly fraudulent misrepresentation of 9/11. Waiting to be interviewed on the radio the other day, I found myself on hold listening to a public-service message exhorting listeners to go to 911day.org and tell their fellow citizens how they would be observing the tenth anniversary [...]

Penn Jillette on how modern politics resembles a Vegas magic act I’m a Las Vegas magician. One thing you learn doing magic tricks for a living is how close every performance of every magic trick is to disaster. There are no robust magic tricks. Winning the Battle Against Al-Qaeda, Losing the War Against Jihad Posted By Raymond Ibrahim URL to article: http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/winning-the-battle-against-al-qaeda-losing-the-war-against-jihad/ So long as the West focuses on names and faces in the so-called “war on terror” — as opposed to focusing on ideas and motivations — so long will it possibly win battles, even as [...]
GELLER HAS DONE MAGNIFICENT WORK IN RESISTING SHARIA TAKEOVER IN AMERICA…WHY IS SHE WASTING VALUABLE TIME RIDING THIS HOBBY HORSE THAT HAS BEEN DEBUNKED? HERE IS A COMMENT THAT GETS TO THE POINT:
DixieCat Today 06:34 AM
I usually enjoy reading Pamela Geller’s columns, however, it is apparent to me that the author, Ms. Geller does not understand how the curriculum to be taught in Texas Public Schools is adopted. The Governor of the State does not have any authority to demand that a certaincourse of study be taught. The curriculum is adopted by a board of elected representatives, from the entire State, the State Board of Education. Books are reviewed, prior to their inclusion in a course of study, by parents within various school districts. Their findings and recommendations are considered. The governor does appoint a Commissioner of Education. The Board is elected from single member districts. The entire State of Texas is represented on this board. The State Board of Education is also considered a public entity and must comply with the very strict Texas Open Meetings and Pubic Information Acts. They are not legally allowed to conduct the public’s business in secret. . I have been on a committee for my local school district. Texas parents have a great deal of power over what is taught in the classroom and are empowered by the laws regarding education in this state. In the University system, professors select the curriculum and text books. My Texas University Student attends a public university and there is no curriculum as described byMs. Geller that must be taken. I request that you stop spreading incorrect and false information regarding the adoption of books or curriculum in the State of Texas, as the Governor is not the final arbiter. I enjoy reading The American Thinker. The inclusion of articles, which do not reflect the truth and in fact spread falsehoods, certainly lowers the quality of your website.
Here for your continued boredom is her latest column on this issue:

The Real Perry/Aga Khan Curriculum Is Bad For Children By Pamela Geller
http://www.nationalreview.com/articles/print/276804 Of Mafiosi and Mullahs Intelligence is how you take down organized crime and organized terror. This was supposed to be a reflection on 9/11 and what we’ve learned in the decade since — what we’ve done right, what we’ve done wrong. It would be foolish, though, to waste time retracing our steps when the [...]
THIS COLUMN IS FROM APRIL 2011…BUT THE REASON I RECYCLE IT IS THAT SCOWCROFT AND JIM BAKER ARE PART OF THAT OLD RINO GROUP THAT I HOPE ANY GOP CONTENDER WILL REJECT…. AND HERE IS A FINE RESPONSE IN THE COMMENTS SECTION WHICH SAYS IT ALL…RSK
John Gerard Says:

There is no solution to this apart from what the Arab Muslims want – the destruction of Israel and the death of every Jew in the region. You can make every land deal you like, but people who are sworn to the above will not stop short of it. Ever. If you think they will ever recognise Israel, you are an idiot. A two-state solution effectively mandates Israel’s demise, and allows them even greater access to Israel, with weapons and Islamic nutters pouring in over the borders from every muslim hell-hole on earth. It will be ceaseless, until they have wiped out Dar al Harb totally. Then they will have a major obstacle to the caliphate removed.
If you want credibility it’s not a good idea to propose an Israel-Palestine peace plan in the Financial Times. But Brent Scowcroft’s latest offering is a waste of space in any case
Why some people bother getting out of bed in the morning to spout platitudes about the Israel-Palestine conflict is quite beyond us. The latest totally-out-of-synch-with-reality offering comes from Brent Scowcroft, former national security adviser to US presidents George H. W. Bush and Gerald Ford, suggesting a new U.S. led peace plan.
