Moshe Sharon is a professor of early Islamic history at Hebrew University and the author of several books. He has been lecturing to one government of Israel after another that when they negotiate with the Arabs they must remember that they are negotiating in a Middle Eastern Bazaar, not in Washington DC or in Brussels, Belgium, the capital of the European Union.

For those who have forgotten or never knew, Mr. Sharon was the only Arabic speaking person at the peace negotiations between Israel and Egypt. As Sharon tells his audience often, at that time, The treaty was signed in Washington , D.C.on the 26th of March 1979.

One time, Egyptian President Anwar Sadat, said to Sharon, in Arabic, “This is a [Middle East] market. Tell your prime minister.” What Sadat was telling Israel, explains Sharon, to learn the language of the Arab bazaar, but Israel never has learned. Because Israel hardly ever listens.

The Department of Justice has been forced to hand over $120,000 for bringing a meritless abortion clinic access lawsuit against a clinic protester. This loss is one of multiple lost cases by the Department of Justice against abortion clinic protesters. The Special Litigation Section is the unit bringing the meritless cases. It was profiled in the PJ Media Every Single One Series as being headed by and filled with Leftist ideologues.

The Special Litigation Section sued Mary Sue Pine under the “FACE” Act, which guarantees access to abortion clinics. The complaint alleged Pine obstructed a car entering the clinic by standing in front of it. Hans von Spakovsky previously wrote about the scalding the DOJ received in the trial court.

Today’s front-page article in the New York Times on the Trayvon Martin case repeated NBC’s attempt to cast George Zimmerman as a racist by selectively editing his 911 call.

Here is the 911 call transcript:

ZIMMERMAN: This guy looks like he’s up to no good, or he’s on drugs or something. It’s raining and he’s just walking around, looking about.

911 DISPATCHER: Okay. And this guy, is he white, black, or Hispanic?

ZIMMERMAN: He looks black.

And here is what the Times reported:

“Hey, we’ve had some break-ins in my neighborhood,” Mr. Zimmerman said to start the conversation with the dispatcher. “And there’s a real suspicious guy.”

This guy seemed to be up to no good; like he was on drugs or something; in a gray hoodie. Asked to describe him further, he said, “He looks black.”

The Times, like NBC and MSNBC, leaves out the fact that it was the dispatcher, not Zimmerman, who first raised the issue of race.
