Rarely has the fate of the nation hinged on the outcome of two Senate races — from the same state.

The distortions in the campaign and voting that we saw on November 3 will likely be child’s play compared with what will march through Georgia next January.

If recounts don’t change the November 3, 2020, result, the January 5, 2021, Georgia senatorial election becomes a black-swan event like none other in our age.

Incumbent senators rarely have runoff elections. Even if they do, states almost never have two senators up for reelection at once — and never both in runoffs. While control of the Senate has sometimes hinged on the outcome of one senatorial race, rarely has the fate of the nation hinged on two — from the same state.

In January, we will discover whether the Republicans hold the Senate, or whether Democrats and Vice President Kamala Harris announce that it is past time to junk many of the very rules by which America makes its rules.

Such melodramatic language is justified. Unlike normal changes of senatorial control, this time around the Democrats have boasted that with a Democratic Joe Biden, a Democrat-controlled House and Senate, Americans will see changes not just in policy per se but in the very manner of how we are governed. Or as now revolutionary Chuck Schumer in melodramatic fashion boasts from the metaphorical barricades: “Now we take Georgia, then we change the world.”

My friend and I organized a bus trip to Washington DC on November 14 for Million MAGA March – 53 Bostonian Patriots participated in this historic event. After returning my friend Svetlana Shaknovich wrote this essay. Tanya Gorlin.

Half of my life I spent in the USSR. There were 2 major newspapers – Pravda ( The Truth) and Izvestiya ( News). There also was a joke – there is not truth in Pravda and there are no news in Izvestiya. We all knew that, and we got used to live surrounded by lies. While in Russia, we listened to the Voice of America. It was our source of truth. We could not imagine in our worst nightmare that this voice would ever change, that the newspapers and radio in America, the best country in the world, will purposefully and constantly lie to us.

I just want to give you a couple of very recent examples from Million MAGA MARCH in Washington to prove my points.

1 – Number of participants. According to the calculations of eye witnesses (including myself), taking the area size and the density of a crowd, it was well over 500,000. I have never seen so many people in my life. As a comparison, it is a common knowledge that Copacabana Beach in Rio De Janeiro usually has more than a million people for New Year’s Eve. I was there in 2017, and I can swear that there were more people on the march Now, see what media states:

2 – Who they were. There were people of every color, race , age and nationality- Vietnamese, Chinese, Latino, Jewish, Blacks, Whites from literally all states of the Union ; children, young adults, older people, veterans, gay, marines – laughing, chatting, celebrating their common devotion to liberty and demand of fair elections.

No violence, no calls for revenge. From 8 am when we arrived until 5 pm when we left, I saw just 2 opponents – an obviously mentally unwell black woman who greeted us at the bus station with a laconic but powerful message ” F… Trump”.

A recount monitor in Georgia discovered a 9,626-vote error in the hand recount in DeKalb County, according to the chairman of the Georgia Republican Party.

“One of our monitors discovered a 9,626-vote error in the DeKalb County hand count. One batch was labeled 10,707 for Biden and 13 for Trump—an improbable margin even by DeKalb standards. The actual count for the batch was 1,081 for Biden and 13 for Trump,” David Shafer wrote on Twitter on Nov. 18.

“Had this counting error not been discovered, Biden would have gained enough votes from this one batch alone to cancel out Trump’s gains from Fayette, Floyd, and Walton,” Shafer added, referring to the three Peach State counties which discovered memory cards with uncounted votes on Monday and Tuesday.

Shafer said that two official counters signed off on the miscounted batch. GOP attorneys turned over an affidavit (pdf) on the incident to the Georgia secretary of state and requested an investigation.

“We were limited to one monitor for every 10 counting tables and we were kept some distance from the tables. There is no telling what we missed under these unreasonable restrictions,” Shafer said.

Following the election, the social media monopolies did their best to ban discussion of voter fraud, lest confidence in Joe Biden’s “victory” be shaken. Today, Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg testified before the Senate Judiciary Committee on their platforms’ political biases and influence.

I don’t know what to make of Dorsey. He looks like a homeless person and, based on videos I have seen of his testimonies before Congressional committees, he appears to be of below-average intelligence. But that can hardly be true. So maybe he is just playing dumb, trying to wait out the next few months in hopes that his Democrats capture the presidency and the Senate and no one will ask him difficult questions ever again.

Today it was Senator Ted Cruz who made things hot for CEO Dorsey. The most important part of the exchange starts around the 6:10 mark when Cruz asks Dorsey whether voter fraud exists. Dorsey says he doesn’t know:

He isn’t interested in finding out, either. On both Twitter and Facebook, references to voter fraud are ruthlessly suppressed. The subject evidently strikes too close to home for their Democratic Party. Facebook has extended its ban on “political” ads past the election, and it continues to this day and beyond. Why? The election is over. It is because Facebook, like Twitter, is trying to squash information about voter fraud.

My organization routinely runs ads and boosts posts on Facebook, either to drive policy activism or to direct traffic to our web site. Facebook has always been happy to take our money. But since November 3, Facebook has deemed ads that relate to public policy “political” and refused to run them. We are a 501(c)(3) and do not engage in political activity; nevertheless, Facebook has prevented dissemination of our ads relating to wasteful state government spending. The social media giants’ horror at the thought of voter fraud is so great that they are willing to forgo large amounts of revenue and ban conversation about topics like wasteful government spending, lest references to voter fraud somehow leak through.
