The Elbows Up campaign fooled Canadians and that led to too many Canadians voting for the Liberal libtards: again.
How many times do Canadians have to be hit in the head before they realize it’s time to say “No More”?
We are now learning that PM Mark Carney; appointed, installed, erected to his position, lied through his teeth. He lied about the tariffs. He talked the talk and crawled the walk. And now, because he only won a minority government, suddenly there are all these recounts and ALL of them are going Liberal. A playbook right from the Democrats. It isn’t going to work.
As a Boomer, I am appalled and disgusted that my age group voted Liberal, again. I spoke to 40 year old men with children who told me before the election that they thought Canada would be better for their children and grandchildren if Canada were to become 51st state. Now that’s a switch. It has been said, if you vote Conservative when you are 20, you have no heart. If you vote Liberal when you are 40 you have no brain.
Trump was trolling. Do you really think Republicans want Canada? It is Liberal.
But Carney said he would be tough on Trump
“We must respond with both purpose and force,” Prime Minister Mark Carney said in response to American tariffs. Those comments were made on April 3 as Carney stood in Ottawa reacting to Donald Trump’s flurry of tariffs on his so-called “Liberation Day.”
April 17: Carney declared:
“We’re all going to stand up against Donald Trump. I’m ready. I’ve managed crises over the years. I’ve built strong economies. We’ll fight back with counter tariffs. We’ll protect our workers and those businesses, and we will build the strongest economy. We’ll build Canada strong.”
April 20
“We are responding with purpose and with force. We are fighting. We are fighting back with tariffs of our own that are causing maximum damage in the United States with minimum impact here.“
Seems Mr. Carney was remiss in his statements. OK. He lied to us. Straight faced.
By April 16, the “elbows up” Prime Minister, in the middle of a 37-day election campaign, had quietly dropped retaliatory tariffs to ‘nearly zero’ without telling anyone – knowing it would only become public after the election was already over.
And Carney was right. I didn’t hear a word about it in the media. Especially the CBC. The propaganda outlet for the Liberal Party-the Party that promised to keep funding them with tax payer dollars. I resent that. I am Jewish and the CBC is one of the most Jew hating media outlets in the world.
You can see it for yourself here in the Canada Gazette or in Bloomberg’s report on it. So obviously there should be some questions about the fact that after an April 11th cabinet meeting where Carney and his Cabinet removed the tariffs (the order was signed on April 16th and published May 7th, in case you’re confused about the timeline) on most American goods, they then went out on many occasions with their “elbows up” rhetoric – flexing the retaliatory tariffs muscle on the campaign trail after knowing they lifted them.
He lied to us big time. And now he is standing with the “enemy,” Trump, and his Golden Dome. Seems he and Trump get along famously.
I may be a tad prejudiced, being Jewish, but Carney, while running for election, declared Israel was committing genocide. Not a word about the barbaric invasion of Israel, October 7, during a ceasefire by Muslims from Gaza. Then, to reinforce his original statement he made another one after the election standing with the grand Empires of Britain and France once again accusing Israel of genocide.
A statement, which was endorsed by UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, French President Emmanuel Macron, and Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, slammed Israel’s renewed military offensive and warned that the countries would work to sanction Israel if it does not end the war.
“We will not stand by while the Netanyahu Government pursues these egregious actions.If Israel does not cease the renewed military offensive and lift its restrictions on humanitarian aid, we will take further concrete actions in response.”
And in return received thanks from Hamas.
