The Unmentionable, Unspeakable, and Unutterable. Part One Victor Davis Hanson

What best characterizes an Orwellian or Soviet society?

The silent, collective acceptance of the truth that never can be spoken, and the lies of the apparat that everyone else knows are not true.

Think of some of the astounding truths that we simply ignore.

Hillary Clinton

We have spoken about Clinton before, but the degree of her transgressions seems to increase with every recent disclosure. In 2015–16 Hillary Clinton for the first time in U.S. history hired a thuggish hit team of oppo researchers to manufacture dirt on her opponent Donald Trump.

Then she trumped that crime by hiding her payments behind three paywalls. Then her team enlisted a corrupt FBI to hire her own two hirelings, Christopher Steele and Igor Danchenko, as informants to spread their lies, smears, and dirt throughout the apparat, deep state, and fusion media.

In other words, Hillary Clinton was the first presidential candidate in history, who, hand-in-glove with the FBI, almost won the presidency by systematically violating a myriad of laws (hiring two foreign nationals to work in a presidential campaign, destroying subpoenaed records and devices, racketeering, and conspiracy to deceive the government, etc.) in her efforts to destroy Donald Trump.

Then without a hint of shame, Hillary Clinton immediately became the nation’s most prominent election denier by declaring Trump illegitimate. She insisted that he was not the true winner of the 2016 election, as her minions did their best to warp electors to reject their constitutional duties to vote according to state tallies.

Then licking her wounds in defeat, she bragged that she was joining the “Resistance.” And she would go on to advise Biden in 2020 not to accept a popular vote loss.

Think of it: Hillary Clinton sought to destroy the integrity of the entire 2016 election.

She mocked the very idea that her felonious behavior would ever be prosecutable. And as projectionist dessert, she cackled that Donald Trump won by colluding with the Russians (i.e., her crime in hiring the Russian citizen Igor Danchenko to provide the lies of the Steele dossier) to throw the election.

Her wild slanders helped to prompt a wasted 22-month fraudulent investigation that all but wrecked Trump’s successful administration. In other words, Clinton created the entire Russian collusion hoax, whose essence was smearing her opponent to win an election on charges that she herself was guilty of, by hiring Danchenko via Christopher Steele as a source, while her own lackey Charles Dolan was in Moscow vacuuming up Russian-fed collusionary dirt to pad her bought dossier.

And us, the citizens? We shrug as if all that was nothing, as the shameless, a-day-ahead-of-the-posse, Clinton now accuses Trump supporters of giving Nazi stiff-armed salutes. And we are now in 2022, six-to seven years after her crimes, as she muses yet a third and final run for the presidency.

More Still on Fauci

If you think about it, really think about it, Dr. Fauci may be at ground zero of a gain-of-function, human-engineered virus that nearly destroyed the economic and social life of the U.S., if not the world. And he did all this while posing as the wizened savior who would deliver us from the U.S.-subsidized, human-manufactured coronavirus—despite blathering out daily self-contradictory sermons on pangolins and bats, herd immunity, mask wearing, vaccination efficacy, travel bans, and no Chinese culpability.

Why would a federal health official like Fauci ever be protected from full disclosure by releasing only highly redacted emails?

If someone other than Dr. Fauci was point man on Covid, someone who had not funded gain-of-function research involving the coronavirus, someone who had no prior involvement with the Wuhan Level-4 lab, someone who did not have the power to deter medical critics through the power of multibillion-dollar government grant gifting, someone who instead on day one of the pandemic had warned the U.S. that there was a good chance that an up-engineered virus would wreak havoc on Americans, more so given the duplicity of the perennially lying Chinese communist government—what then might have happened differently?

The dimensions of Fauci’s possible culpability are so staggering that Americans simply have gone mute.
