Conservative Influencers Vow to Keep Reporting on Radical Gender Surgeries on Minors After 3 Medical Groups Demand DOJ Investigations By Debra Heine

Three major medical associations on Monday asked Attorney General Merrick Garland to investigate and prosecute people who are allegedly threatening, coordinating or provoking violence against children’s hospitals across the nation that provide irreversible sex change procedures on minors, including puberty blockers, chemical castration, and surgical amputations.

In addition to siccing the Justice Department on their detractors, the groups said they have also pressured social media platforms to censor “high profile users” who “share false and misleading information.”

The increasingly woke American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Medical Association (AMA) and the Children’s Hospital Association (CHA) wrote to Garland on Monday, claiming in a letter that “physicians are being targeted and threatened for providing evidence-based health care.”

Journalist Christopher Rufo, a senior fellow at the Manhattan Institute, posted the letter onto Twitter:

“These attacks have not only made it difficult and dangerous for institutions and practices to provide this care, they have also disrupted many other services to families seeking care,” the letter states. “In one hospital, a new mother was prevented from being with her preterm infant because the hospital’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit was on lockdown due to a bomb threat.”

In August, there was a bomb threat against Boston Children’s Hospital, causing it to be locked down with patients and staff inside. A bomb squad discovered that there were no explosives on the premises. Last month, the FBI arrested the alleged perpetrator, 37-year-old Catherine Leavy of Westfield, Massachusetts.

“The morality of this situation is blindingly clear,” Ruffo wrote on Twitter”

• Threatening hospitals is wrong.
• Censoring journalists is wrong.
• Criminalizing political opposition is wrong.
• Surgically removing a child’s genitalia is wrong.

The letter also states that children’s hospitals across the nation have had to “substantially increase security” and work with local and federal law enforcement, due to a perceived threat of violence.

“Children’s hospitals and their medical staffs continue to face increased threats via social media–including to their personal accounts. Coupled with harassing emails, phone calls, and protestors at health care sites, there is elevated and justifiable fear among families, patients, and staff,” the medical associations alleged.

The letter continues, claiming that the alleged “attacks” are a result of “an intentional campaign of disinformation,” although the groups don’t explain how their detractors are wrong.

High profile social media users like  Rufo, The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh, Gays Against Groomers, and Libs of TikTok have exposed what some hospital employees are doing through video or other documentation.

Without naming names or providing evidence, the medical groups accused the “high profile users” of engaging in “coordinated attacks” that are “rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation.”

These coordinated attacks threaten federally protected rights to health care for patients and their families. The attacks are rooted in an intentional campaign of disinformation, where a few high-profile users on social media share false and misleading information targeting individual physicians and hospitals, resulting in a rapid escalation of threats, harassment, and disruption of care across multiple jurisdictions.

Our organizations have called on technology companies to do more to prevent this practice on digital platforms, and we now urge your office to take swift action to investigate and prosecute all organizations, individuals, and entities responsible. Attacks against health care institutions that threaten violence, intimidation, and physical harm have left hospitals, staff, and their communities shaken. Providers of evidence-based gender-affirming health care and their colleagues are facing increased stress and fear on top of the conditions they have faced while working on the frontlines of a global pandemic for nearly three years. Families seeking care at these institutions as well as our those providing their care fear for their personal safety in the wake of these attacks.

Garland has not yet commented on the letter publicly.

“This is now the Left’s playbook,” Rufo noted on Twitter. “Last year, the National School Board Association, Department of Justice, and F.B.I. worked together to label parents who opposed critical race theory ‘domestic terrorists.’ They want to stifle dissent, suppress speech, and criminalize opposition.”

The activist vowed to continue fighting against the mutilation of children in the name of “gender affirming care” during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle” Monday night.

“I have a message for Attorney General Merrick Garland: you can threaten us; you can mobilize the FBI against us; you can drag us out of our homes in a pre-dawn raid. But we are not going to stop reporting on radical gender surgeries on minors,” Rufo said.

As the Daily Caller reported, several other high-profile conservative journalists and media pundits have publicly vowed to continue exposing children’s hospitals that perform sex-change surgeries on minors, despite the potential for DOJ harassment.

The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh, producer of the highly rated documentary “What is a Woman,” tweeted that he would rather be dead than “surrender to this madness.”

“I believe that gender ideology is one of the greatest evils in human history. There is nothing they can threaten that would make me back down from this fight,” Walsh tweeted on Monday. “I’d rather be dead than surrender to this madness. It’s as simple as that for me.”

Walsh’s film “What is a Woman,” features Scott Nugent, a woman who decided to transition as an adult, and now grieves openly about her choice to mutilate her body.

“I will never be a man,” she said. “Is it transphobic of me to tell the truth?”

“I think it’s worth reiterating that some of the biggest and most powerful medical organizations in the country are now calling on the federal government to prosecute and imprison those of us who criticize their medical practices,” he pointed out on Tuesday. “We are entering a very dark time. I’m ready.”

“Gays Against Groomers,” an organization of gays who oppose the regime’s grooming activities in schools and throughout society, argued that no legitimate science requires the censoring of journalists.

“They really want us to shut up. Unfortunately for them, we never will,” the account tweeted. “Science doesn’t require censorship and intimidation. Pseudoscience on the other hand, requires it.”

Journalist and evolutionary biologist Colin Wright vowed to continue “exposing the atrocities” against minors in gender clinics nationwide:

“I will not stop exposing the atrocities inflicted upon children in hospitals in the name if ‘gender affirming care,’” Wright tweeted. “Call me a terrorist, investigate me, put me on a no-fly list — I don’t care. What’s happening is horrific and needs to end.”
