ALEX GROBMAN: BDS-THE MOVEMENT TO DESTROY ISRAEL

NEW JERSEY—With proponents of the anti-Israel “BDS” (Boycott/Divestment/Sanctions) model aggressively pursuing their hoped-for isolation of the Jewish state, pro Israel supporters are gearing-up to push back.

On the heels of the recent anti-BDS summit in Las Vegas, called by Sheldon Adelson and Haim Saban, momentum is building to directly confront BDS enablers.

Time is of the essence.

As Alex Grobman writes in BDS: The Movement to Destroy Israel:

“An upsurge in worldwide anti-Jewish and anti-Israel hatred has reached a point not experienced since the end of the Second World War, according to historian Robert S. Wistrich, the leading expert on antisemitism. In London, Paris, Berlin, Barcelona, Caracas, Sydney, Chicago, Los Angeles, and other Western cities protesters carry signs with anti-Jewish slogans such as ‘Hitler Was Right,’ ‘Be Prepared for the Real Holocaust,’ ‘Cleanse the Earth from the Dirty Zionists,’ ‘Israel is the Antisemite,’ or ‘The Cancer of the Middle East, Israel Must Not Exist.’”

Sitting squarely in the middle of the new assault on Jews is BDS.

Grobman points out that although Palestinian extremism undergirds the movement, it is Western leaders and young, socially minded activists who are both dupes and growing enthusiasts for the campaign to cripple Israel economically. Although Israeli products and innovation literally make the world a better place in myriad ways, BDS activists have convinced too many that the “Occupation,” “Settlements,” and “Zionist policies” are now war crimes.

BDS: The Movement to Destroy Israel is the first in a series of three books written by Grobman, to be released by San Remo Press, in which the distinguished scholar puts various anti-Israel strategies front-and-center for the public.

Jim Fletcher, an Israel activist in the Christian world, calls Grobman’s new book “a landmark project, since it provides much needed factual data in a format that is easily accessible for audiences increasingly comfortable with brevity and substance.”

With growing numbers of evangelical leaders warming to BDS groups, Fletcher says that Grobman’s book is a crucial element in the effort to defend Israel from those who seek her destruction. BDS: The Movement to Destroy Israel is available on Kindle.
