So now I’m reading there’s a campaign in the works to unseat a grubber na’ar named William Schabas from the Commission…the UN tribunal that is set to try Bibi for war crimes connected to the conflict in Gaza. Bibi’s on trial, Israel is on trial, all Jews around the world are on trial.
Just another day at the UN, no?
The funny part is that this shmendrick is openly hateful against us. Always has been. Always will be. Look it up.
Schabas was picked to head this inquisition…and he’s Canadian. This is so annoying. Canada? When did Canada ever hurt anybody?
Oh sure. There was that time years ago when the MacKenzie King government was asked how many Jewish refugees it would accept from the Holocaust. “None is too many,” came the (still famous) response. But let’s forget about that, bygones be bygones as we say at the club.
Normally, Canada has never been famous for putting Jews on trial. For that we’ll always have Europe.
Actually 5,000 of us were finally let in and all of us moved to St, Urban Street in Montreal and prayed for Maurice “Rocket” Richard to score us another goal. (Who is Wayne Gretsky?) So from the land of Maurice Richard comes William Schabas. Nu, how the mighty have fallen, aye?
This trial has already been decided and I don’t have to read the papers. I read Kafka, where somewhere he writes something like this:
“First the hanging…then the testimony.”
Masters of the Absurd Ionesco and Beckett could not have cooked up a more delicious farce wherein everything is so Moisheh kapoyer .
Name a day of the week when Jews are not on trial? (Lenny Bruce demanded “a statute of limitations.”)
So here we go again…this time for Gaza, the war “Israel started” because, gevalt, Israel answered back after 10,000 Hamas rockets.
Imagine the chutzpah! The world keeps throwing us another Holocaust party but we refuse to come. Thanks – did that already.
We’re skipping this one and all the rest of your holocausts. Been there. Done that. Give our regrets to Ban Ki-moon.
When do we put YOU on trial, Mr. Schabas, you and your fellow scoundrels and chazzerrem at the UN? We know what you did last summer. In Gaza you used your facilities to help those Hamas chayas fire their rockets into Israel – and you come to judge us?
Clooney’s klafteh had the good sense to excuse herself from the tribunal – but not before another zetz….something about “the occupied Gaza Strip.” Occupied?
She has a right to be clueless. But you Schabas, you’re a big macher, a “professor of international law.”
Here’s you on record with your smirky chuckle: “My favorite would be Netanyahu in the dock of the international court.” Your cronies laughed. Very funny.
You’re a regular Jon Stewart….and we know him, too.
So why even bother with a hearing when we already know where you stand, you klutz.
Come clean, Schabas – you’re no Canadian.
Prime Minister Stephen Harper, he’s Canadian, like this, “Canada calls on its allies and partners to recognize that these Hamas terrorist acts are unacceptable and that solidarity with Israel is the best way of stopping the conflict.” Solidarity with Israel, this true Canadian says.
He shoots. He scores.
