Why oh why do the Palestinians persist with this self-defeating defamation campaign? Do they think it helps their cause?
The latest utterly pointless garbage from the Palestinian Authority is just… well… garbage. Apart from firing up their own people against any possible peace agreement with Israel, this is a tired old theme which adds nothing to anything. And the variation on this theme that we get today from watchdog Palestinian Media Watch, is that Israel is now turning Palestinians into drug addicts.
Well, great job. Surely there are families all over the West Bank that will now be seen by the world in an entirely different way. What next, the Jews poison the wells? Oh, sorry, that’s already been done.

In the attempt to demonize Israel, the Palestinian Authority has a policy of slandering Israel with libels and lies. One recurring libel documented by Palestinian Media Watch is that Israel deliberately spreads drugs to harm Palestinian youth in Jerusalem to destroy their future.
In an interview on official PA TV, PA District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Laila Ghannam accused Israel of spreading drugs:
