Tehran, Sept 2, 2010 IRNA (Iran news agency) – According to Palestinian
news agency MO’A, Palestinian Liberation Organization praising Iran’s
anti-Zionist stands on Wednesday, emphasized need for world Muslim’s
participation at Int’l Qods Day, marked by late Imam Khomeini (P).

According to IRNA Media Monitoring Service, a member of the PLO Political
Office, Abbas Jomah also added that the International Qods Day should be the
day of fidelity towards Beit ul-Muqaddas, for the solidarity of the world
Muslims, and for their collective attention to the plight of their
Palestinian brethren under the boots of the racist Zionists.

Praising the incessant anti-Zionist stands of the Iranian leaders, he said,
“Despite the mounting threats of Iran’s enemies, the Iranians have always
stood by the side of the Palestinian nation and supported them
wholeheartedly.

He added, “Keeping alive the International Qods Day is true support for the
Palestinian cause and supporting the resistance and braveries of the Muslim
residents of that holy city against the occupiers who are trying to turn
Jewish the entire Islamic and Christian signs and monuments in the
internationally significant city.”

Jomah said that the Israeli diggings and excavation under the Al-Aqsa Mosque
and the Dome of the Rock are quite worrying and so is the confiscation of
the lands and the houses of more and more Arab residents of Holy Qods.

He asked for an immediate end to the internal disputes among the
Palestinians, strengthening of the Palestinian unity and solidarity as soon
as possible, strengthening the resistance movement and supporting the great
idea of declaring the occupied Holy Qods as the capital of the independent
Palestinian Government.
