RON HARWELL FOR CONGRESS TENNESSEE DISTRICT 4: ELECTIONS ARE COMING

PLAIN SPOKEN RON: Ron says, “I am a gentleman, until I am lied to or cheated. I have never been involved in politics in my life, except to vote. Today, I cannot stand by and watch the liars and cheaters in Washington, D. C. turn America into a third world socialist toilet.”
“Paying attention to politics” wasn’t even a small blip on Ron Harwell’s radar until 1993. His attention-getter was President Bill Clinton’s affair with a young White House intern. Harwell says. “Being a Democrat, I asked Democrats why President Clinton wasn’t being punished. The only answer was ‘it’s nobody’s business’.” That’s when Harwell started asking questions of conservatives and got answers that made sense. One answer was many politicians are corrupt. From this point in time, a conservative Ron Harwell started paying attention to the U. S. Congress.

Ron says, “I am a gentleman, until I am lied to or cheated. I have never been involved in politics in my life, except to vote. Today, I cannot stand by and watch the liars and cheaters in Washington, D. C. turn America into a third world socialist toilet.”

This Rockwood, Tennessee, resident was so passionate about changing the culture of corruption and poor performance of Congress that he decided to run for the 4th District of Tennessee Congressional Seat in 2009.

Born in Los Angeles, Ron has strong Southern roots with his dad growing up in Nashville, and his mother born and raised in New Orleans. After graduating from high school, Ron worked and attended college for 31/2 years before being drafted into the U. S. Army, spending one year in Viet Nam. He was honorably discharged in 1969 and began working in sales in three different industries, winning Salesman of the Year awards.

Harwell is an avid basketball fan on all levels and has coached the game. One of his passions is flying with 120 hours towards a commercial license. When not soaring in the clouds, he’s a down-to-earth guy with a passion for honesty and loyalty. This former deacon at the Biltmore Baptist Church has three grown children and one grandchild.

Believing members of Congress have forgotten who employs them, Harwell is adamant about Congress “paying attention” to the American people. Not only is Ron Harwell paying attention to our U. S. Congress, the voters of the 4th Congressional District of Tennessee are paying attention to Ron Harwell’s trek to becoming their employee.
