ANOTHER DAY, ANOTHER MOSLEM CAUSED FLIGHT PROBLEM

This appeasing Islam strategy is really working.

Every day another jihad … but not to worry, it’s just a couple of fanatics, aka Muslims, who have actually read the koran. So we are ok.

The bottom line is that the incomprehensible expense of our idiotic airline defense and other wrongheaded responses are going to bankrupt these industries. We are pitiful. How could America have voted for this?

Security threat: Armed police storm the EK004 Emirates flight to Dubai last night

Armed police storm plane and arrest three at Heathrow after ‘bomb threat’ on board Daily mail

Armed police dramatically arrested three men after boarding an aircraft at Heathrow Airport moments before it was due to take off for the Middle East last night.

Officers wearing full body armour and armed with automatic weapons ‘swarmed’ over a passenger after he made a ‘verbal threat’ as the Emirates plane was taxiing on the runway.

Witnesses said counter-terrorism handcuffed the suspect, described as a white male, and bundled him off the aircraft. Another individual was also arrested, according to police sources.

Passengers remained on board the EK004 flight bound for Dubai as sniffer dogs were brought onto the Boeing 777 to search for potential threats, with overhead lockers being emptied.

Passenger Cameron McLean, who was five rows behind one of those arrested, said: ‘Police just swarmed the guy and rushed him out. I think he was a white male. There was another one but I didn’t see him.’

He said the man was taken out in handcuffs then sniffer dogs were brought on board.

A Scotland Yard source confirmed the incident occurred on a plane, believed to be an Emirates jet, and was sparked by a ‘verbal threat’ which was overheard and reported to the plane’s crew.

He added there had been two arrests and passengers remained on the jet, saying ‘we have not found anything’.

The incident comes amid heightened tension at airports across the world in the wake of the botched Christmas Day attempted bombing on board a plane from Holland to the USA.

Extra bag checks, body searches and on board regulations have seen travellers in London wait up to three hours before taking off.

Even when they are in the sky, some passengers have been told to remain seated for the final hour of flight time, with no access to the bathroom or overhead lockers and nothing on their laps, including blankets or pillows.

Others heading to the US have reportedly also seen bans on the use of electronic equipment, including laptops and MP3 players and, in some cases, in-flight entertainment has also been disrupted.

Leading terror expert Dr Sally Leivesley said: ‘The fact that dogs came on the plane would mean that they were obviously using dogs to try and confirm whether there were explosives or other types of goods on board.’

DENVER – Military jets scrambled to intercept a San Francisco-bound jetliner reporting a problem aboard — one of two commercial airplanes diverted because of disruptive passengers.

In addition, police at London’s Heathrow Airport arrested three passengers after removing them from a jetliner bound for Dubai. Police said the three men allegedly made a bomb threat on an Emirates airline passenger jet Friday night as it was about to take off. A search of the plane found nothing suspicious.

The other passengers were taken off the plane and put up in a hotel overnight.

Friday’s passenger plane disruptions came amid heightened concern over airline security after following an alleged Christmas Day attempt to blow up a Detroit-bound Northwest Airlines plane.

Two F-16s were launched at 11:44 a.m. to catch up with AirTran Airways Flight 39 from Atlanta to San Francisco after a report that an intoxicated passenger had locked himself in a bathroom, the Colorado-based North American Aerospace Defense Command said.

The jets arrived over Colorado Springs Airport as the captain — who AirTran said had decided to divert the plane — landed there around noon, NORAD spokeswoman Stacey Knott said.

Colorado Springs police detained the passenger, who allegedly refused to follow flight crew instructions to take his seat before locking himself in a lavatory. Canine teams searched the airplane, and the flight was cleared to continue to San Francisco.

Muhammad Abu Tahir, 46, of Virginia, was being held at the El Paso County jail, the FBI said. Federal charges for interference with a flight crew were expected to be filed Monday. His hometown was not immediately available.

Also Friday, a Hawaii-bound flight had to change course and land in Los Angeles after a man was accused of harassing a woman. The man was removed from the jet that departed Las Vegas early Friday.

The man was interviewed and released after the woman declined to press charges, Los Angeles airport police Sgt. Jim Holcomb said. The exact nature of the disruption or whether the passengers knew each other wasn’t known, Holcomb said.
