…but to the land of truth, and the courage to say it as it is, whatever the cost to ourselves and our friends.
Here it is:
Nineteen Muslim terrorists, the majority of whom were Saudi-passport bearing men, crashed two of our American planes through the Twin Towers causing about 3000 casualties in the most cruel and inhumane way. A third plane murdered many of our men and women in uniform working for our defense at the Pentagon. Thankfully the fourth plane did not reach the White House but was brought down in Pennsylvania by “ordinary” – yet extra-ordinarily brave – American men and women.
This brazen and inhuman act perpetrated by ISLAMIC-inspired terrorists changed our world – or, should we say, had the potential to change our way of thinking IF – if we only dared to see and say what it was that was happening actually everywhere on our small planet.
A wish, yes, a fiery commitment by millions upon millions of Muslim men and women to rule this world and bring us all into submission to their fiercely-held religious opinion: That it is Allah’s wish to submit the whole world, even by way of war, terrorism and jihad, to the teachings of ISLAM.
Thus this – for most Muslims – ‘holy aim’ legalizes these – to most of us – horrifying means to reach it. Yet in spite of this September 11, 2001 shock that could have awakened us many – too many – of us are still asleep and oblivious to the horrific dangers which are about to swallow up our freedom in many a sense.
The son of Palestinian Muslims dressed in a United States military uniform did not believe he committed a crime against his fellows – to whom he was supposed to give psychological assistance – but believed he was doing the will of Allah in murdering at Fort Hood, TX, his brother and sister soldiers who were part of an army that is trying to flush out the very basis of terrorism in Afghanistan and Iraq which made possible the 9-11 massacre and others (like Saddam Hussein’s massacre of the Kurds).
Mohammed, in his comparatively short life, fought more than 50 wars to spread his faith. As key Islamic professor Moshe Sharon has said: “For ISLAM the sword preceded the Quran.”
Nevertheless – lest too many awake to this terrible truth – there are today many so-called ISLAMIC moderates and western sympathizers and apologists who tell is that ISLAM, on the whole, is nevertheless “a peaceful religion” even as President George W. Bush remarked barely two weeks after the September 11 massacre that killed 3000 of his own people in the name of Allah!
NO IT IS NOT A PEACEFUL RELIGION, and any honest ISLAMIC historian knows this truth. We need only to look today to the areas where people are murdered, massacred and mutilated – all by the adherents of this faith: In the Sudan, thousands upon thousands; in the Philippines, in massacres perpetrated in Indonesia, in India, in London, in Madrid – all to further the interests of ISLAM. Not to speak of the most violent area, the Middle East, where Muslims in the form of Hamas, Fatah, Hizbollah, Syria’s Alawites, Ahmadinejad’s Iran and many more are willing to fulfill the wish chanted by thousands of Muslim children: ‘We shall first kill the Saturday people and then the Sunday people,’ and surely they do this even now.
As The Jerusalem Post’s Matthew Wagner reported on December 13, 2009:
Every three minutes a Christian is being tortured in the Muslim world, and in 2009 more than 165,000 Christians will have been killed because of their faith, most of them in Muslim countries according to a human rights organization…
“Hamas digs up the bodies of Christians from Christian burial sites in the Gaza Strip claiming that they pollute the earth,” said Reverend Majed El Shafie, President of One Free World International (OFWI), who will head a delegation of human rights activists, members of parliament from Canada and religious personalities.
And looking only to the photographs of various placards carried at an ISLAMIC rally in London (behind a protective cordon of British Bobbies!!) there is little need to add more words.
If, in regard to these – to them – unpleasant facts, apologists claim that those who do them do not represent their peaceful ISLAM, then where are the voices among the Islamic leadership that come out publicly and forcefully against these atrocities – as I do now – and apologize profusely to the Jews and Christians for the slaughter of their innocents?
I know many Christians who are willing to repent and apologize for the massacres perpetrated against Jews and Muslims by the Crusaders; who will lament the fact that Irish protestants and Catholics have been fighting one another even with terror entirely against the will of God.
But where are the ISLAMIC leaders, scholars and politicians, with the courage to openly decry the Muslim-perpetrated massacres against Jews and Christians, all justified in the name of Allah. Where are they?
It is not for George Bush or Barack Obama to tell us – as they have – that ISLAM is in fact an honorable and peaceful religion. I want to see the Muslim leaders prove it themselves by fighting an all-out war against the terror, massacre, racism and intolerance in their own Muslim midst.
Then, and only then, shall we at least be able to say that there are good and peaceful Muslims who hate the violence perpetrated by their coreligionists as much as every normal person on this earth!!
