There’s Just One Deadly Sin For Today’s Democrats-Crossing the Party Line

It has been somewhat amusing to watch Democrats twist themselves into pretzels to justify their continued support for miscreants and reprobates, while still trying to claim the moral high ground when it comes to President Donald Trump.

In the span of just one week, we’ve seen them rush to defend a Senate candidate, Graham Platner, who didn’t just sport a Nazi tattoo on his chest, but a tattoo of a skull favored by guards at Nazi concentration camps. A guy who spouted anti-gay slurs on social media.

Sen. Bernie Sanders, speaking for all Democrats, washes his hands of it.

“I suspect that Graham Platner is not the only American to have gone through a dark period,” Sanders told Axios. “What he did was he expressed his darkness on the internet. Probably not a brilliant thing to do, alright? And he said things that are stupid, things that were hurtful. He has apologized for them.”

Which led one cowardly Democrat to tell The Hill anonymously that “I do not understand how we can go from having a subset of the party that is obsessed with calling Donald Trump a Nazi to then going to vast lengths to excuse a Nazi tattoo.”

The Platner revelation came just after Democrats felt compelled to stand by Jay Jones, a candidate for Virginia attorney general – the chief law enforcement officer of the state – who fantasized about killing a political opponent and his children, and said he’d be happy to see cops killed.

Not one prominent Democrat called on Jay Jones to leave the race.

Instead, the typical response was what former Richmond Mayor Levar Stoney told National Review:

“Obviously, those text messages are indefensible, but I’ve known Jay Jones for a long period of time. He’s a friend. He made a mistake, he apologized, he’s been accountable for that.”

Next, we come to Zohran Mamdani, who can do no wrong as far as Democrats are concerned, even if it includes standing arm in arm with Siraj Wahhaj, who was an unindicted co-conspirator of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, or spouting anti-Semitic tropes, or refusing repeatedly to condemn the phrase “globalize the intifada.”

When asked point-blank to condemn that phrase, Mamdani simply said, “that’s not language I use.”

Nothing to see here, either.

This is a party that has perfected the hypocrisy Jesus warned about in Matthew 7:3 – “Why do you observe the splinter in your brother’s eye and never notice the great log in your own?”

Today’s Democrats scream about women’s rights and regularly (and falsely) accuse Trump of being a rapist, then brush aside actual cases of domestic violence, rape, and assault by their own members – or worse, launch attacks on the women brave enough to come forward. They accuse everyone else of racism and excuse it when their own says or does racist things.

Democrats regularly call Republicans brainless, but actively covered up Biden’s actual dementia for years and went all out to elect John Fetterman to the Senate, knowing that he was incapacitated by a stroke.

Fetterman actually shows just how uniquely twisted the Democrats’ moral compass is.

When he was running for office in 2022, Fetterman was obviously not up to the task. He could barely talk, had trouble hearing words correctly, and soon after he took office, had to check himself into the hospital for clinical depression. But Democrats needed him to flip a Pennsylvania Senate seat, so it didn’t matter if he was unfit.

Then, a really strange thing happened.

The healthier Fetterman got, the more his fellow Democrats decided they didn’t want him around anymore, to the point where they are now plotting to oust him in the next election by mounting a primary challenge in 2028.

Fetterman’s unpardonable sin?

He’s been talking like a moderate. You know, an open-minded, independent person who is willing to take on other Democrats when they go overboard with their woke religion, their Israel-bashing, their uncontrollable Trump hatred. That’s an infamnia.

Last week, Fetterman even broke ranks and voted with Republicans to reopen the government, saying “It’s an easy, easy choice to pick my country over the party, especially in circumstances like this.”

For today’s Democrats, lust, greed, pride, wrath, envy, gluttony, sloth – those count only if you’re a Republican.

But cross the party? Go straight to hell, boy.
