JACK ENGELHARD: WE SHALL OVERCOME ALICE WALKER

WASHINGTON, June 2, 2013 — Universities in the United States and throughout the world are becoming no-go zones for Jewish students. The bullying, which features Gestapo-like tactics, is part of an organized campaign that singles out Israel for Boycotts, Divestments and Sanctions. You don’t have to be Israeli. Being Jewish is enough to make you a target.

According to its web site, The Palestinian BDS National Committee (BNC) is a wide coalition of the largest Palestinian organisations, trade unions, networks and NGOs.

BDS, the fastest growing “fraternity” from campus to campus, is a new pestilence based on an old malignancy.

What other country is being asked to justify itself in terms of “peace, justice and human rights?” The answer comes back like this:

“Only the Jews.”

Some of us remember the knock on the door for only the Jews.

We know the roundups that swept through France and throughout Europe for only the Jews.

There can only be despair among survivors who thought one Holocaust was enough, only to find that another Auschwitz is being planned for their children.

Fresh BDS headlines keep coming in from around the globe.

Only yesterday a student organization in Belgium voted overwhelmingly to “freeze relations with Israeli universities.”

The nations are in an uproar. Plots and schemes from every side.

Last Thursday the Pulitzer Prize winning author Alice Walker spoke at New York’s 92nd Street Y, where she got to list her practiced grievances against the Jewish State. She called for an end to the “apartheid” within the only nation in the Middle East, Israel, where there is no apartheid. But she is part of the virus. She wants Israel punished. BDS wants Israel disciplined.

Where have we heard this before? Does the name Heydrich ring a bell…Goebbels, Goering, Eichmann?

This grudge has become so boring, and boycotts have always been a signal for an oncoming genocide.

Alice Walker now wants Alicia Keys to join the boycott and thus to cancel a planned concert in Tel Aviv. She needs more partners in baseless loathing.

We shall overcome Alice Walker.

The BDS venom was hatched by the likes of Omar Barghouti, Steven P. Rose and his associate Hilary Rose on the pretext of justice but nothing can hide their true intention, to wipe Israel off the map, once and for all. The affliction has consumed, among many other notables, the Nobel Prize laureate Desmond Tutu and the renowned scientist Stephen Hawking.

We will survive them as well…and we will even survive Jewish organizations like the 92nd Street Y that play into the hands of hatemongers in the name of diversity.

Among the BDS bullies the talk is high-minded, but the dreams are for death camps and crematoriums.

We who survived, we know the tricks.

They say justice. We hear Zyclon B.

How many Treblinkas do they need, these people, before they are satiated with our blood and the blood of our children?

They are at it again, the same people but with different names, and sometimes even the names are the same, like Gunther Grass, Germany’s most famous living writer, once a proud member of Hitler’s Waffen-SS. Still today he is a man “who has difficulties with Israel.” Only the Jews.

Grass’ “difficulties” are understandable.

Israel is proof that he did not get to finish the job. How frustrating!

This is the crux of it all. This is why they bring false charges and use metaphors and euphemisms to conceal the message.

It was likewise at the Wannsee Conference (1942) that together with the Nuremberg Laws designed the Holocaust, but without saying so.

They were busy with “train schedules.”

Thank you for the invitation, BDS. But we won’t be attending your next Holocaust. Once was enough. We will be busy protecting our children. We have other plans.

Over in Israel they have an army, an air force, a navy. Isn’t that your nightmare? Isn’t that what’s gotten under your skin? You cannot toy with us as once you could.

The psalmist saw you coming 3,000 years ago: “Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion that seek after my soul.
