RICK MORAN: BONANZA! TALIBAN ACCIDENTALLY REVEALS NAMES ON THEIR MAILING LISTS !!!???

http://www.americanthinker.com/printpage/?url=http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2012/11/bonanza_taliban_accidentally_reveals_names_on_their_mailing_list.html

We’ve probably all done it; sent an email out to the wrong people or one that included information you would rather have not been made public.

So we know how this Taliban PR flak feels today.

ABC News:

Somewhere out there, Mullah Omar must be shaking his head.

In a Dilbert-esque faux pax, a Taliban spokesperson sent out a routine email last week with one notable difference. He publicly CC’d the names of everyone on his mailing list.

The names were disclosed in an email by Qari Yousuf Ahmedi, an official Taliban spokesperson, on Saturday. The email was a press release he received from the account of Zabihullah Mujahid, another Taliban spokesperson. Ahmedi then forwarded Mujahid’s email to the full Taliban mailing list, but rather than using the BCC function, or blind carbon copy which keeps email addresses private, Ahmedi made the addresses public.

Islamic Terrorism: Ignorance Is Not Bliss By John Steinreich

http://www.americanthinker.com/printpage/?url=http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/../2012/11/islamic_terrorism_ignorance_is_not_bliss.html

With the growing focus on the scandalous personal behavior and questionable professional comportment of former CIA Director David Petraeus as related to the September 11 Benghazi attack, the investigation into what happened in this tragedy is becoming deeply mired in political muck. The politics of the moment has thus served to hinder America from taking advantage of yet another opportunity to learn why Muslims turn time and again to violence against American interests.

If our nation is ever going to successfully defend itself from terrorism committed by Muslims, we need to come to grips with the unpleasant reality that the doctrines of Islam animate this behavior. Why did 9/11 happen? Not because the hijackers were a group of mindless radicals; rather, they did what they did because they relied on the teachings of their holy books, which mandated them to commit violence against unbelievers. Why did Nidal Hasan shoot up his fellow servicemen at Fort Hood? Not because he was a disgruntled employee who wanted to take revenge on what he considered to be his noxious co-workers; rather, he fired at them as a self-proclaimed soldier of Allah based on his study and application of the Quran. Why did Benghazi happen? Not because of some perceived offense at a YouTube video (a notion that has been thoroughly discredited), but because, undoubtedly, the terrorists who tortured and murdered Ambassador Stevens and his compatriots simply followed the directive in Quran 9:5, which teaches Muslims to kill unbelievers wherever they find them.

DANIEL GREENFIELD: THE MOMENT OF TRUTH FOR ISRAEL ****

http://sultanknish.blogspot.com/

“Israel can retake Gaza once. Or it can retake Gaza every few years. It can have soldiers patrol Gaza or it can have rockets falling on Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The options are as unfortunate as they are clear. The only hope for peace lies in driving out the terrorist militias who have turned Gaza and the West Bank into their own Somalia and Afghanistan and reclaiming the territories. Because after this fight is through, the next generation of rockets will go on being built and smuggled. And they will not fall in empty fields.”

Seven years ago the Israeli government decided to forcibly evict the Jewish residents of Gaza and withdraw all bases and forces from the area. The experts, some with the government and some with the media, assured everyone that it would be for the best and that withdrawal would actually improve the security situation in the country.
It was put about that resources and lives were being wasted protecting Israelis living in Gaza, while those Israelis insisted that their presence in Gaza was protecting Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. The experts laughed at them. Now the experts are keeping an ear open for air raid sirens because as it turned out, those farmers and teachers, those men and women growing lettuce in greenhouses and building homes on hilltops, from which rockets are being launched, were the ones protecting Tel Aviv.

“They are now being asked to relinquish these accomplishments for the greater good,” the government press release said of their houses and farms, of their synagogues and greenhouses. And the greater good was served. The greenhouses were turned into Hamas training camps and the synagogues were burnt to the ground. Rockets fly into the air from the ruins of broken houses.

No longer will your sons have to die in Gaza, the experts said. A month later rockets were falling on Sderot. A year later Gilad Shalit had been kidnapped and Israeli soldiers were back again, dying in a Gaza that was now run by Hamas.

Among the bundle of promises from the Sharon government, was that the Gaza withdrawal was part of an oral agreement with the United States limiting further withdrawals and concessions. That agreement lasted for another few years until Obama took office and no one in his administration could ever remember such an agreement or accept its validity.

“The moment of truth has arrived,” Netanyahu said, on resigning from the Sharon government. “At the moment of truth, a man – especially a leader – must ask himself: ‘What are you doing, what do you stand for, what are you fighting for?'”

GERALD HONIGMAN: GAZA….HERE WE GO AGAIN, AND AGAIN

http://q4j-middle-east.com As I write this, Israel is once again being forced to up the ante in Gaza. Keep in mind that the Arabs there–Hamas and those who eagerly support it–call for the destruction of Jews and their nation and actively work to bring both about. So far, the West seems to be supporting Israel’s right […]

MARK LANGFAN: TODAY MISSILES FROM GAZA….TOMORROW FROM THE PA

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/12459#.UKgoLny9KK0 Seventy-five years ago, in November 1938, the Nazis rampaged through Nazi Germany, and parts of Austria, murdered 91 Jews, arrested another 30,000 Jews that were packed off to the gas chambers, and left streets covered in Jewish glass. It was called Kristallnacht, just a fancy way of saying it was a pogrom to murder […]

OH AND ABOUT THAT “WONDERFUL” NATO SUCCESS IN BOSNIA

Bosnia’s embattled Christians are leaving the country, and their exodus is being blamed on the Muslim majority and the increasing influence of Islamic law.

BosNewsLife reports Christians are fleeing to escape discrimination and the Islamization of their home country. Atlas Shrugs publisher and Islam analyst Pamela Geller says the problem is simple: Bosnia is rapidly becoming an Islamic state.
“What is going on there is the creation of a Shariah state and a base for the jihadists in Europe,” Geller said.
“Persecution of Christians is escalating, and the Islamic supremacists are crowding out the cultural Muslims,” Geller said. “Sarajevo used to be one of the most diverse cities in Europe. Now it’s almost entirely Muslim.”

The Heritage Foundation’s Allison Center for Foreign Policy Studies Analyst Steve Bucci says he’s not so sure the reports of widespread persecution are accurate.
“The Bosnians were nominal Muslims, but some foreign Islamists settled there. Even so, the Bosnian government did a good job of corralling them,” Bucci said.

“They weren’t invited into the fight. When I was on the ground over there in 2000-2001, there were no jihadists in power,” Bucci said. “If this has happened, it’s only been in the last two to three years.”

But Adriatic Institute for Public Policy Co-Founder Joel Anand Samy says “not so.”

He believes the threat the anti-Christian climate has been developing for years.

“There is a prevailing tide of discrimination toward Bosnian Croatian Catholics. Most disconcerting is that individuals’ properties have not been returned – specifically those belonging to Bosnian Catholics,” Samy said.

MELANIE PHILLIPS: BETWEEN A ROCK AND A HARD PLACE

http://melaniephillips.com/between-a-rock-and-a-hard-place

“The ludicrous extent to which the left is going to deny the blindingly obvious, which is that Israel is taking military action in response to thousands of rockets and missiles bombarding its population as any other country would do, in order to impute some kind of cosmic malice to Netanyahu by constructing scenarios which are totally out to lunch, suggests that any psychosis is rather to be found amongst such people when it comes to attitudes towards the State of Israel.”

In Israel, an enormous call-up of reservists suggests that a ground invasion of Gaza is imminent – and this morning’s further attacks on Tel Aviv make that more likely still. The prospect of a ground invasion fills Israelis with dread. A ground invasion means that Israeli soldiers will go into Gaza street by street and house by house to destroy the rocket launchers, rockets and ammunition dumps where they have been stored. Many have been situated in residential neighbourhoods, for two reasons: first, to deter the Israel Defence Force from attacking them for fear of killing civilians as a consequence; and second, to ensure that many Gazan civilians are indeed killed, thus guaranteeing an international outcry so that Israel will be forced to stop its operation to destroy these weapons.

Such a ground operation, where from past experience many of these places have been booby-trapped, carry the certainty of a high casualty rate among the Israeli soldiers.

That is why Israel today waits in dread. People in Britain and elsewhere who have the luxury of living in a country that has not been under existential attack for six decades have absolutely no idea of the extraordinary pressure under which so many Israeli families live. Their children are conscripted into the armed forces because Israel is under permanent threat of attack by an Arab and Muslim world which is determined to wipe Israel off the map.

And so these young Israelis are sent to fight and some of them — maybe many of them — will die, in a country where every such life that is lost is a national tragedy because the Jewish people was almost wiped out half a century ago, and their families will be torn apart – all because millions of murderous fanatics who believe the Jews must not be allowed to live in their own historic homeland continue to try to destroy that homeland and murder as many Jews as possible. And many more of Israel’s children will die if the Israel Defence Force starts a ground war in Gaza. Yet Israelis also know that if the rockets and missiles from Gaza are to stop, a ground war may be the only way to destroy these weapons since there is a limit to what can be achieved by aerial bombardment.

This is the kind of rock and very hard place indeed dilemma under which Israelis live week in, week out – and have done for more than sixty years, all because a bunch of fanatics are bent on their annihilation. Yet none of this is acknowledged by those in Britain, whose hearts bleed for the Palestinians who are the aggressors in this conflict but never for the Israelis who are their victims – and whose motives in mounting such a military operation must therefore be assumed to be malevolent or evil.

BRAVO!!! JACK ENGELHARD: PLEASE SPARE US THE PIETIES ON GAZA*****

http://www.israelnationalnews.com/Articles/Article.aspx/12456#.UKhQ6Y5WKTA
Jack Engelhard

Frankly, given a choice, I prefer the skinheads and other brutes who express their anti-Semitism openly. In such places, we know the enemy.

But please spare me the pieties and the righteous indignation of those “good people” protesting throughout Europe
You called it “peace” as long as the Arabs were doing the killing and the Jews were doing the dying.
against Israel’s defensive operation in Gaza. True, thousands have taken up banners in support of Israel and Jews all over the world are expressing support. At the same time, however, the streets of Europe (and even some in America) are in an uproar. These are the “humanitarians” – the good, the noble, the refined, who chant “peace.”

Now you’re up and about? Now you speak? Where were you when, throughout the years, thousands of jihadist bombs fell on Israel? The streets of Europe were empty. There were no pictures in the newspapers of grieving Jewish mothers and fathers, of frightened old people and children. You called it “peace” as long as the Arabs were doing the killing and the Jews were doing the dying. All was well with the world.

Suddenly, as Israel answers back, you found your Cause; and how self-righteous you are in your Cause.

You are the best and the brightest of Europe. You are educated. You attended the finest schools. You care for the birds, the bees, the bears, the trees. You favor free speech and freedom of religion. Strange it is that the one and only place in the Middle East that shares your world-view is Israel, and it is Israel that you slander.

Israel is a Jewish State. Is that your problem? At the first hint of Jewish self-defense, how quickly you show your true colors.

I’ve seen the photos of your candlelight vigils along the streets and boulevards of Europe, all of it; all these tears in the service of those terrorists whom you call your brothers. Indeed you are related to Hamas (and Fatah) as once before, a mere generation ago, you were related to Hitler’s stormtroopers. Your angelic faces are touching – and disgusting. Your hypocrisy is transparent and nauseating.

You speak of disproportion. You want proportion? Give Israel a population of 300 million residing in 22 countries, similar to the Arab Muslims who surround and ambush Israel – instead of six million Jews in one single country. There’s plenty of “proportion” coming from your BBC, which delights in presenting one side of the story and picks up where Der Sturmer left off. Now, with this type of “news”, we know how Europe was conditioned for a Holocaust.

Already we see Nights of Broken Glass. Thank you, Europe, for reminding us why America was discovered just in time (and why Israel was redeemed many generations too late). You dare judge Israel? In your deportations, your expulsions, your forced conversions, your inquisitions, your pogroms, you have no moral authority over Israel or even within your own borders. You gave all that up from 1492 to 1942.

To those on the Left who sought peace, well, dear peace-lovers, peace brought this on. “Land for Peace” made this happen, as Land for Peace became Land for Jihad. “Painful Concessions” caused this war. “Goodwill Gestures”
You have no moral authority over Israel or even within your own borders.
backfired. Want more “peace”? Give up the Golan Heights. Give up the entire “West Bank”. Give up Jerusalem. Imagine the “peace.”

As for those “innocent civilians” in Gaza, they were given a choice and they chose Hamas. They chose this pestilence.

As for those “refugee camps” – why are they “refugee camps” when Israel handed over all that territory for a nation to be built in peace and security alongside Israel? Why are all Palestinians automatically refugees even after they’ve been given a home? The only true refugees are the thousands of Israelis who were driven from Gaza and still live in trailer parks. No tears for them in this world that still dreams of Auschwitz.

Once, in response to a column I wrote about Theresienstadt, someone responded that I was incorrect; that Theresienstadt was not a prelude to Auschwitz, but rather “a vacation resort.” I wrote back wishing this person a lifetime in such vacation resorts. I wish the same lifetime vacation resorts to all those parading throughout the streets of Europe or demonstrating in New York at the Israeli Consulate, with banners crying, “Death to Israel.”

God bless the IDF! Go Israel!

EDWARD KLEIN: IN STORE FOR AMERICA….FOUR WORSE YEARS

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/11/15/yes-obama-is-still-amateur-president/print#ixzz2CO5gB4IN In the wake of Barack Obama’s victory at the polls, I’ve received a torrent of emails from liberal friends asking me how I can possibly stand by my characterization of the president as an amateur. After all, they say, Obama ran a masterful election campaign—conclusive proof that he’s a pro, not an amateur. As […]

KIRSTEN POWERS:President Obama’s Silly, Sexist Defense of Susan Rice ****

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2012/11/15/president-obama-silly-sexist-defense-susan-rice/ Don’t pick on the little lady. Wednesday, President Obama bizarrely cast the U.N. Ambassador to the United Nations, Susan Rice, as some delicate flower the boys should stop picking on for her dissembling claims on five Sunday talk shows following the killing of 4 Americans in Benghazi. But, there is no damsel in distress […]
