I’ve listened to Barack Obama whine so long about fairness that I think my tympanic membranes are bleeding. B.O. wouldn’t know fairness if it walked up and grabbed him by his cuppy ears, unless of course fairness had a wad of hundred dollar bills stapled to its lapel.
Does he think it was fair to the non-black kids who actually worked hard, studied diligently and earned the grades and test scores to be admitted to Columbia or Harvard but were turned away? Turned away so a dope-smoking, coke-snorting half black guy who couldn’t even make his tiny school’s starting five in basketball could be waived in? Could it be the possibility that he claimed to be from Kenya that made his advancement to the front of the line fair?

When U.S. President Barack H. Obama Sunday phoned to personally congratulate Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood president-elect, Mohammed Mursi, he confirmed his view that its Cairo-based revolution represents a genuine “transition to democracy.”
To many, that statement also confirmed the naïve fantasy world Obama instituted in the White House. In contrast, clear-sighted congressmen, statesmen, Egyptian liberals and activists, Islamic history scholars and more than a few journalists realized from day one that the January 2011, Tahrir Square demonstrations would end with MB achievement of their 84-year dream — to reinstate sharia in Egypt — and that after gobbling the presidency they deceitfully claimed not to seek, the MB would launch an open phase in their perennial effort to impose universal Islamic law through a new global caliphate.
Obama’s Sunday call, in reality, may have confirmed something far worse — his full devotion to revolution, in the classical sense — i.e. full-blown popular overthrow of government. The president long followed guiding socialist “lights,” like the late Saul Alinksy, and his childhood mentor and hardened communist Frank Marshall Davis, whom some now claim was Obama’s “real father.”
Has Obama now — or come as he will ever — confessed that his true sympathies lie both with full-blown revolution, and the Muslim Brotherhood and Islamic supremacists, not with U.S. interests at all?
Perhaps. Given Obama administration efforts to squelch all investigations and prosecutions of Islamic radicals in the U.S., one must wonder.

I find it difficult to regard the Supreme Court decision on Arizona immigration law as just another controversial or disappointing highest court decision. There is something almost post-apocolyptic and certainly pre-totalitarian when, to invoke Justice Scalia’s dissent, the Court has ruled that Arizona contradicts federal law by enforcing it. Yes, as Scalia put it, it “boggles the mind.” It also conjures up truly alarming comparisons with “justice” as meted out by kangaroo courts, show trials and other horrors of totalitarian dictatorships.
We understand such criminal acts of going through the motions as sham procedures that have no intention of upholding the rule of law, but rather go forward to entrench an ideology or regime or, usually, both. It is shocking, therefore, to see even a pale reflection of such things in this ruling, the perfect endpiece to President Obama’s recent Rose Garden Amnesty. Maybe it’s the context of lawlessness and abdication of responsibility we live amid (I discuss this at some length here). In these lawless and irresponsible times, Arizona’s immigration law sets a dangerous precedent, demonstrating how both to re-establish the rule of law and take responsibility.
Is that why, circa 2012, it had to be struck down?

Photo: Courtesy A Jewish foundation on Tuesday announced the creation of an annual award with a one million dollar cash prize that will be bestowed upon a personality with strong ties to the Jewish people for his or her achievements in the fields of art, science or diplomacy The Genesis Philanthropy Group headed by Russian-Jewish businessmen including billionaires Mikhail Fridman, Pyotr Aven and German Khan, among others, said the Genesis Prize, which has been likened to a “Jewish Noble Prize,” would help strengthen ties between Israel and the Diaspora.
“The Genesis Prize emphasizes the contribution of the Jews to world history,” Fridman was quoted as saying in a press release. “Far-reaching achievements in science, the arts, business, medicine, diplomacy and other fields of human endeavor have been realized thanks to the Jewish people’s natural aspiration to improve the world and to its desire to pass its moral values on to coming generations. This tradition of the Jewish people must continue.”
The announcement was made during a meeting in Jerusalem between Fridman, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Jewish Agency for Israel Chairman Nathan Sharansky.
The one million dollar award would put the new accolade on a par with the famous Noble Prize, which comes with a $1.1 million gift. So far about 20 percent of Noble Prize laureates have been Jewish, a staggering number considering Jews make up about 0.2 percent of the world’s population. Jewish recipients of the Noble include the likes of physicist Albert Einstein, author Shai Agnon; and slain prime minister Yitzhak Rabin and current President Shimon Peres, who received the award together.

In the video below, we see a small number of Christians who gathered holding Christian signs at the 2012 Dearbor, Michigan Arab festival being assaulted by Muslims with bottles, stones, and other objects. The police do not protect the Christians or take action against the perpetrators; in the end, they reprimand the Christians and instruct them to leave. Ever since, there has been no coverage of this outrageous event in our media. Nor has CAIR or any other Muslim organization denounced the Muslims who abused the Christians.
One can’t help but wonder: If a small group of Muslims gathered in the U.S. somewhere with a few signs depicting Koranic verses, and a mass crowd of Christians or Jews began to assault them, verbally and physically, threatening violence and mayhem, would police tell the Muslims to leave, instead of acting against the perpetrators? And would the media be completely quiet about it? Would Muslim groups be silent about it after?
What if Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson gathered in a civil rights rally and they were surrounded and stoned by a mob of KKK supporters? Would the police show up and reprimand Sharpton and Jackson and instruct them to leave, all the while leaving the racist perpetrators untouched? And if this happened, would our media be completely silent about it? Would Anderson Cooper be completely silent every evening on CNN as he is at the moment about the stoning of the Christians in Dearborn?
