AL QAEDA’S TURN TO SOCIAL NETWORKING EXTENDS TO CUBA

WASHINGTON — Al Qaida’s network in North Africa is expanding its presence to Cuba and Spain, a report said.

The Hudson Institute said Al Qaida Organization in the Islamic Maghreb has been deploying agents in Spain as well as Cuba in an effort to expand its presence. The institute said AQIM in cooperation with the Algerian-backed Polisario has focused on recruitment and fund-raising.
