Hannah Senesh was martyred by the Nazis in 1944 at the young and tender age of 23 leaving behind a legacy of heroism for us the living.

Blessed is the match consumed in kindling flame.

Blessed is the flame that burns in the secret fastness of the heart.

Blessed is the heart with strength to stop its beating for honour’s sake.
